Close proximity to the village of Sarlat La Canada and additional free secure parking was such as bonus. As always you know what to expect with Ibis Hotels a very satisfying experience.

The hotel has free parking and is about a 15-20 minute stroll from the city centre which is handy. The room was a good size for an Ibis and all in good condition. Good recycling places on each floor. The staff were pleasant.

Even though the lobby was sometimes congested by a large group of Spanish school children, our stay was for the most part restful and enjoyable. I would most likely recommend this hotel for it's positioning in town and, although on a through road, a quiet location. My only gripe would be that on our second morning/breakfast it was very busy and even 1 hour before breakfast was due to finish some articles, hot food, had run out and were not replenished.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable with plenty of free parking when we stayed in November. Breakfast was very good.
