Our friends from New York wanted to visit the area so chose Ibis for the Accord brand's reputation and the closeness to the town of Sarlat. The hotel was very satisfactory and the best of the 3 we used. BUT. The room was hot despite the cooling system that didn't work and we opened the window. As a result my wife had mosquito bites all over her body that had an allergic reaction requiring urgent medical attention. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us and helped kill off 6 mosquito. Accor should seriously consider installing insect blinds to all rooms to stop infestation. The climate is getting hotter and the problem bigger.

Super 3 night stay. Ideally placed location for a short walk into Sarlat. Car park is secure and plenty of room. Room is comfy, shower is good. Only down side is the absence of a fridge or kettle in the room. Breakfast is ok, standard fare you’d expect. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I had a pleasant stay at Sarlat and was pleased to have a hotel with parking. The procedure could be emailed in advance however. It was a fair walk into the mediaeval town; not too far but far enough that you wouldn't want to pop back up the hill for something you'd forgotten. My room was spacious and comfortable.

Very friendly welcome. We travel a lot throughout France and often stay in Accor hotels — this was actually the first time we were proactively informed about the welcome drink, which we really appreciated. The reception staff were extremely attentive, and the entire team was always friendly and helpful. Even special requests were fulfilled without any issues. Parking is available free of charge behind the hotel or alternatively in the underground garage. The garage is a bit narrow, but everything worked out well overall. Breakfast was also perfectly fine. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
