Repeat visit. Love the location by the river and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Staff were very welcoming, we slept well and there was a good choice of breakfast.

We have stayed at brive before but this time it was just for the night. We chose the ibis for the location. We did not sleep due to the road noise. We are gold members and I had to pay for one of the “free” drinks.

In Ibis hotel, the loyalty program offer one free drink for the ower of the loyalty card. The second guest is supposed to pay for his drink. We just applied Accor loyalty program. Our room was big. With a balcony and a new bathroom. However the shower tray was flat and a flood of water drained out onto the floor. We were warned about this by the receptionist. Just fix it!! AC was inadequate. Breakfast was good as usual. Parking excellent just across the road. 10 mins into the centre. We will use this hotel again.

However. Throughout the night someone was continually starting their car and allowing it to run for 10 - 15 minutes. So, I had poor sleep. everything else was fine.

Canceled stay due to broken AC (26°C room temperature), no refund

The AC in the room was not cooling at all, the room temperature was ~26 °C (outside temp 36°C at 7 p.m.), it was mid of August. The hotel staff had no fan available and no other room, said the hotel was sold out. They didn't offer drinking water, no discount for the circumstances, said only that maybe i can get another room for the second night. My request to rebook me to another Accor hotel in Brive (according Accors all.com App there were rooms available in the ibis budget 5 km away) was answered with the remark that they can not ensure i will get a room with AC there, which is weird as they have only rooms with AC according the App. I decided to book another hotel on my own and cancel my stay, as it is very difficult for me to sleep at that temperatures. The lady at the desk told me that i have to pay the prize for the entire night anyway, no matter that they didn't deliver the conditions advertised. I took a shower in the room, used towels, so i would understand that they charge me something, but the full price for that poor service is very disappointing. Considering that likely the AC is not cooling anymore from one second to the next and attentive room service would take note of that, plus the fact that i had a question prior to my booking the evening prior to my stay which was set on hold ("can you wait a few seconds please?") and never answered within 8.5 minutes (i have checked my calls history at my mobile), i can not recomment that hotel in Brive. I usually book Accor hotels due to the good service, and problems can always happen and i am used they are managed in an appropriate manner, but at this location and charging the full price (even the used Accor rewards points from previous stays in Accor hotels are not refunded!) shows a very poor customer oriented attidude.
