We also regret the inconvenience caused by the broken window, the air conditioning positioning, the WiFi speed, and the overall breakfast quality. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced in your room. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to repeatedly request cups for the kettle and coffee machine, as well as the correct number of towels for a room booked for four guests. This is certainly not the level of comfort and attention we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our housekeeping and room preparation teams to help us improve. When I arrived I was told to pay 200 pounds and that I would get it back minus anything I used , when I checked out, you deducted money 60 pounds city tax. No body said this when I checked in.

We understand how important transparency is, especially when travelling with family. Please allow us to clarify that the pre-authorization deposit requested upon arrival is a standard hotel procedure. The amount is temporarily blocked on the payment card to guarantee any extras or incidentals used during the stay, and the remaining balance is automatically released after check-out according to the timing of your bank institution. Regarding the city tax, unfortunately this is a mandatory local tax imposed by the Municipality of Rome and applies to all visitors staying in the city. The hotel is required by law to collect this amount on behalf of the local authorities. We sincerely regret if these details were not explained clearly enough during your arrival, and we will share your feedback with our team to improve communication with future guests. Nice hotel in residential area but still in walking distance to the Vatican

Your comments regarding the lack of Kleenex tissues, the absence of a proper desk for working, and the issue with the water in the fridge are very important to us and have been shared with the relevant departments for immediate review and improvement. Late check-in was very good. Room was very clean and well set out. As a ground floor room, the windows were a problem as they were above head height and did not open
