Room generous and simply modern and with all amenities in good working order. Very noisy until 1.30am both nights ! for such a supposed quiet time just after new year. Should keep top floor for families and more boystrous guests on the lower floors so we can sleep. Great breakfast but need to serve it from 7am even at quiet times to allow people to be on time. Bay window and even the glass was absolutely covered in black mold- - absolutely covered like it’s never been cleaned or ventilated ever !!!!!! I spent the first hour of our stay cleaning it all off with the liquid soap so could have easily been done by the hotel. They need to really check the cleaners work properly also black mold in the bathroom - need to check all areas not just a basic clean. Check the cleaners work on all areas of the room. Tv was old needs upgrading - so to be able to connect to the internet so people can use their own subscriptions as very basic choice of channels. Needs more than one pillow on each bed. Staff very nice and friendly and helpful - but finer details of running a hotel need to shape up. If this was all fixed I would stay again as great location- feel parking should be included in the room rate though.

Arrived late on a freezing January night to a room with no proper heating. The only option was a loud AC unit blowing cold air and a small radiator that did nothing to warm the room. The room was unbearably cold and the bed uncomfortable. Despite paying for breakfast, we were told it started at 8:00 am with no takeaway option. When leaving at 7:30 am, we then discovered breakfast was actually available. Poor communication and an unhelpful receptionist added to an already disappointing stay.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location but fairly near the main road. The rooms are spacious however, the lighting is a little dim, a central light would be helpful. I would have liked thicker towels, ours were a little thin. The breakfast was pretty good, although they need to check the hot breakfast regularly, as the fried eggs began to get a crust. Good variety though. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Heating did not work in our room, TV would not work. Bed was comfortable though, but on a cold night in december heating not working ruined the stay for us.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. Room ok but only a tiny rail with 4 hangers and no drawers or storage for clothes etc. The food was a bunfight buffet which was lukewarm and they kept running out. This was a Christmas holiday through Grand UK and this hotel should never have been chosen as it's really only suitable for overnight stays or business meetings. I won't be going back!
