Lovely hotel. Second time we’ve stayed here. Easy check in and check out. Parking is £10 a night, unless you have blue badge then there’s no charge. Room clean. Breakfast was great, had plenty of choice. Staff all seemed happy. Only had one little issue, the window didn’t shut fully. Besides that, great hotel.

Disappointing. Bins not emptied in the room, no body wash in the shower. All the cups and mugs were dirty. A number of the USB sockets in the room not working. Sticky toffee pudding the worst I've ever eaten. Tasted more like chocolate cake with chocolate sauce.

The welcome desk/reception felt more like I was interrupting two people hot desking, it was not clear that this was check-in. Was not impressed that an out of town hotel had a £10 per night car park charge. The bar was closed when we returned from town due to a fight which ended our night earlier than anticipated and reduced the spend we would have contributed to the venue.
