Location was handy for visiting Roath. Room was a good size. There was a brief fire alarm through the night which woke us up. The air conditioning unit was turned off but still made loud noises throughout the night. The bedding was stained, otherwise the place was clean. There was insufficient lighting in the room.

I enjoyed my stay in the Mecure North hotel. Hotel was just off the M4 so very convenient. Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Bedding and room was cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Breakfast was very nice and prompt. Receptionist was very polite and welcoming. I stayed as I was completing an Sia security course. I will definitely be staying there again. I will also be recommending the Mecure North hotel to family and friends.

Very worn down hotel in need of refurb. Walls paper thin so next door woke us one night at 12 then second night the fire alarm went off at 3.44am!!!

Great for what we need, which was just a bed for the night. Room was lovely, very clean and spacious. However, we were woken up very abruptly at 3:45am by our room phone. Letting off an exactly loud siren, we had no warnings or updates to what it was.
