Great service from Mohammed Jan. Food was generally good, but avoid the sticky toffee pudding, worst I’ve ever had. Tasted more like chocolate cake, very disappointing.

It’s an ok hotel for an overnight stay - buts it’s not 4 star despite the claim. Seems unreasonable to charge £10 for parking for a hotel way out of town. Rooms clean and decent sized but basic with poor lighting and they really ought to heat the rooms before people check in - it takes quite a while to get them warmer and more welcoming. Pleasant bar downstairs.

We arrived to a rugby tour who were very loud & slamming doors We're told not to come down before 9h00 for breakfast as you were busy Booking said complimentary sparkling water NO water. Ordered extra pillows & tea bags. Pillows arrived at 22h30, but no extra tea bags. Breakfast was a disaster with having to wait for various dishes to come out the kitchen Overall it was not a pleasant experience at all

Firstly, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The area the hotel is in, is very very poor(rough). The restaurant at the hotel is always empty. Super loud if you have a room facing the M4. The breakfast was horrendous. Everything is cold.

Staff worked really hard to keep an old hotel, working. The public areas are very nice, but the public toilets were often leaking/out of order, but the team tried to keep everything clean. The room was lovely, but dark. The rooms heating system packed up, but I was given a portable radiator which was OK for the size of the room. The window didnt really close properly, The room was clean with the cleaning team that was very friendly and overall good. The bathroom was clean but had black mould on the ceiling, which when reported was cleaned off, that morning. Overall the staff were great, but fighting the building which is old and past it's best, but acceptable for the price I paid.
