Restaurant Jardin is overall disappointing from dinner to breakfast. Very few selections

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, helpful and incredibly attentive. As my stay was an extended one of more than 14 days, it was particularly lovely to see the staff get to know me over the weeks and greet me by name. Everyone was exceptionally personable, genuinely polite and consistently made me feel valued and welcome. The room staff were wonderful, with an excellent attention to detail and a real willingness to accommodate my schedule. They thoughtfully fitted room servicing around my commitments, which was greatly appreciated and made my extended stay even more comfortable. The front desk team were equally fantastic. They were always friendly, efficient and willing to help, including assisting me with some local IT connectivity issues. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and their helpfulness made settling into the hotel and the local area very easy. I also had the pleasure of dining at each of the hotel’s restaurants, and on every occasion the staff made me feel completely welcome and comfortable, even when dining on my own. Their warmth and attentiveness really stood out. The breakfast team deserve a special mention for making each morning such a joy. I often dined in Jardin as the only guest, yet the team were always happy to assist and made me feel just as welcome and well looked after as any other guest. Overall, the service throughout my stay was exceptional. The friendliness, efficiency and genuine care shown by every member of staff made a significant difference to my experience. I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after throughout my extended stay, and I would like to thank the entire team for making it such a memorable and enjoyable experience.

It was a good stay with humble, attentive and hospitable staff, one of its kind offer where all age members family can enjoy , from club house to quest from breakfast to shopping n one stop staycation . The best thing was they surprised us with complimentary cake and greetings for our anniversary. Would love to visit again

Dear Hotel Management, We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and appreciated the overall experience. However, we did encounter an issue with the breakfast service that I believe deserves your attention. During our stay, there was no breakfast buffet available; instead, only a set menu with limited choices was offered. Unfortunately, the available options were not suitable for everyone, especially children. I strongly believe that having a wider variety of breakfast choices, or bringing back the buffet option, would greatly improve the experience for families. More importantly, one of my family members became ill with what we believe may have been food poisoning after breakfast. This was very concerning and unfortunately affected our overall experience. I sincerely hope that the hotel will look into this matter carefully and take the necessary steps to ensure the quality and safety of the food provided to guests. Despite this experience, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and would love to have the opportunity to return and create a better experience with the hotel. I would therefore appreciate it if you could consider offering us a gesture of goodwill or compensation, allowing us to visit again and enjoy the experience we had hoped for. We had a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Doha, and the experience was impressive from the very beginning. I made the reservation only the evening before our arrival, less than 24 hours in advance. The booking process was one of the quickest and easiest hotel reservation experiences I have had. I simply called the hotel directly, got through to reservations, was given the available rates and confirmed the booking straight away. They did not even require advance payment or credit card details, although I would have been happy to provide them. They were also flexible about the possibility of early check-in. We did not need it in the end, but when travelling as a family it was reassuring to have that option. The welcome was warm and efficient. I particularly liked the small stand in the lobby with tea, coffee, marshmallows and snacks for children. These simple touches make a huge difference to young children and immediately get them excited about the stay. The entrance and lobby were genuinely stunning and unique. I was interested in the inspiration behind the décor, and the staff took the time to explain it very nicely. Check-in was extremely smooth. Youssef at reception was fast, professional and efficient, and his English was excellent. Communication with him was completely effortless. Walking into the room was one of the most soothing arrivals we have experienced. Relaxing music was playing, combined with beautiful fragrances throughout the hotel. The scents were incredibly calming and contributed to the peaceful atmosphere. I loved the Oriental design and distinctive Banyan Tree feel running throughout the property. The room itself was impeccable: spacious, luxurious and extremely comfortable for our family. I loved the mirrored finishes, soft furnishings, attention to detail and the stunning view. One feature that particularly impressed me was the blackout system, with proper electric blackout blinds integrated into the curtains. I have stayed in many hotels where so-called blackout curtains still allow a lot of sunlight into the room in the morning, but these were probably the most effective blackout blinds I have experienced. When travelling with children, this makes a real difference. The air-conditioning controls were also very straightforward and easy to use. The main downside in the room was bathroom privacy. There was no lock on the main bathroom door, and although there were separate doors for the shower and toilet, they were still quite transparent. With young children running around, this made privacy more difficult than it needed to be. A lock on the main bathroom door or more opaque internal doors would be a worthwhile improvement. Otherwise, the room amenities were excellent. I particularly liked the integrated sound system, with audio coming through the ceiling. Even the children watching television became a nicer experience because of the surround-sound effect. There were many thoughtful smaller touches: bath salts, bath oils, candles and fragrance oils, all of which added to the sense of luxury. Even the slippers were noticeably better quality than the thin disposable ones often provided by hotels and were properly cushioned and comfortable. I also loved some of the decorative details in the bathroom, including the beautifully designed taps with their La Cigale shape. These details show how much thought has gone into the design of the hotel. One of my favourite gestures came the following day when the hotel gave our children two small soft turtle toys. They were only palm-sized beanbag-style turtles, but the children absolutely loved them and played with them throughout the rest of our stay. This is exactly the type of small gesture that excellent family-friendly hotels understand. It may seem minor, but it can create a lasting memory. Another major strength of Banyan Tree Doha is that staying here feels like being part of something much bigger than just the hotel. Having direct access to Doha Quest and Printemps makes the whole property feel like part of a wider leisure and lifestyle experience. Our stay included access to Doha Quest, which added enormous value. Quest can be quite expensive when purchasing admission separately, so having it included with the hotel stay was a fantastic and cost-effective way for us to enjoy it as a family. Access was extremely easy via the connecting bridge from the hotel. Having Printemps directly connected was also excellent. We walked around it several times during our stay without needing to drive anywhere. This combination of the hotel, Quest and Printemps makes Banyan Tree particularly appealing for a staycation. The gym and spa facilities were very good. The gym was spacious with plenty of useful equipment and felt like a proper gym rather than a token fitness room. I particularly enjoyed using the steam room and sauna, which were both in good working order. I also really liked the experience showers with different settings such as rainfall, tropical storm, Caribbean storm and cool mist. They were a fun and unusual addition to the spa experience. The jet pool near the children's pool was enjoyable, although unfortunately several of the jet sections were not working. Given the overall standard of the hotel, it would be good to see these repaired and functioning properly. The children's pool itself was noticeably on the cold side. For a pool intended primarily for young children, I think the temperature should ideally be around 31°C. I do not know the actual temperature during our stay, but it felt quite cold and made it harder for the children to remain in the pool for long. Other than these issues, the children's facilities were very enjoyable. The Kids Club was another positive experience. Catherine was attentive, friendly and genuinely interactive with the children rather than simply supervising them. One point I would suggest the hotel reconsider is the Kids Club opening time on weekdays. On our Sunday stay, the Kids Club did not open until 2 p.m. This creates a large gap because breakfast finishes around 11 a.m. and Doha Quest also opens at 2 p.m. That leaves several hours with relatively little for young children to do. It would be much better if the Kids Club opened shortly after breakfast, as I have found at many other family-oriented hotels in Doha. Breakfast at Jardin was very enjoyable. There was a good selection of food, the quality and taste were good, and the staff were attentive throughout. Mohammed, who I believe is the deputy manager, was particularly helpful and accommodating. I would also like to specifically mention Chit at breakfast, who was very responsive and attentive throughout. She was quick to notice when anything was needed and helped make the breakfast experience feel particularly well looked after. Valet parking was another useful convenience and made arrival and departure straightforward. Overall, Banyan Tree Doha delivered a genuinely memorable stay. What stood out most was not simply the luxury of the room or the impressive design of the hotel, but the attention to small details throughout the experience. From the children's snacks on arrival and the relaxing fragrances, to the blackout blinds, quality room amenities, little turtle gifts, excellent spa facilities and easy access to Doha Quest and Printemps, there was a sense that considerable thought had gone into the guest experience. There are a few areas that could be improved, particularly bathroom privacy, the children's pool temperature, jet pool maintenance and weekday Kids Club hours, but these were relatively small issues compared with everything the hotel did well. For a family staycation in Doha, particularly if you want to combine a luxury hotel stay with Doha Quest, shopping, good food, spa facilities and activities for children, Banyan Tree Doha offers a very distinctive and enjoyable experience. We would certainly be happy to return.

The room is spacious and quiet, located next to a small mall. The doors of the room and bathroom are heavy and difficult for children to open. Hot water is often unavailable for showering or washing. I tried to call the hotel to get a reservation, but there was no answer, so I booked through another app.

Everything was beyond our expectations. Very Good service, clean and spacious rooms, family friendly facilities, accommodating and friendly staffs and lovely ambience. This is a total package which is worth every single penny. Definitely wanted to comeback.

Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I've had in Qatari hotels. The hotel deserves more than five stars. The reception staff were incredibly generous, helpful, and quick, and they even gave me a late checkout themselves. The hotel is very family-friendly and elegant, and the restaurants there are delicious.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback regarding our experience as long-term residents of Banyan Tree. There are many aspects of the property that we value. However, several recurring issues have affected our resident experience and, in some cases, have continued despite being raised previously. Our intention in sharing this feedback is to highlight areas where we believe greater consistency, communication and follow-through are needed. ALL Accor Loyalty Recognition We would appreciate greater consideration of how long-term residents are recognised within the ALL Accor loyalty programme. Given the significant annual expenditure associated with long-term residency, the current level of recognition feels limited. Despite the length and value of our stay, the highest status offered to us has been Gold, while our accommodation expenditure does not contribute towards our loyalty benefits. We also regularly use the hotel's restaurants and in-room dining. Over the past two years, however, we have not consistently received the applicable loyalty points for this spending. When dining at the hotel's restaurants, staff have also not routinely asked whether we are ALL Accor members for the purpose of crediting eligible points. There should be a seamless and consistent process for residents to receive eligible loyalty points when using the hotel's restaurants and in-room dining. Given the frequency of our use of these services over the past two years, we would also appreciate a review of any eligible points that may not have been credited. Resident Communication Communication regarding events within the complex could be significantly improved. Residents are sometimes informed of events at very short notice or are not made aware of them at all. This makes it difficult to plan ahead and participate in activities taking place within the property. Providing residents with an events calendar or communicating upcoming events further in advance would address much of this issue. Service Standards We have experienced noticeable inconsistencies in service standards across the property. We appreciate that new employees require training and time to become familiar with operating standards. However, when service issues recur across different areas, it may indicate a need for greater attention to recruitment, onboarding, supervision and ongoing training. Consistency is particularly important for long-term residents, who interact with the property's teams and services on a regular basis. Jardin Restaurant Jardin is one area where service consistency has been a recurring concern. We enjoy the food and atmosphere, but our experiences with the service have, on several occasions, discouraged us from returning. The main issues have involved communication, attentiveness and general service delivery. This is particularly disappointing because we otherwise enjoy the restaurant. More consistent supervision and service standards would make a meaningful difference to the dining experience. Gym, Jacuzzi and Pool Facilities The maintenance of the recreational facilities has also been an ongoing concern. Residents should not need to report the same maintenance issues repeatedly before they are addressed. Routine inspections should identify many of these problems before they begin affecting the resident experience. For example, the jacuzzi has 16 jets, yet only approximately six are currently functioning. The water is also often barely warm. We have also made suggestions over the years regarding gym equipment, including a manual curved treadmill and additional functional/CrossFit-style equipment. We understand that not every request can be accommodated, but it would be helpful for long-term resident suggestions to at least receive consideration and a response. Pool cleanliness and water quality should similarly be monitored consistently through appropriate professional maintenance, rather than residents having to report when the facilities require attention. Internet is bad and nothing is being done to fix it Construction Noise and Bedroom Sliding Door The ongoing Doha Oasis construction directly opposite the residential building is currently one of our most significant concerns. Our main bedroom faces the construction site, as do many residences within Banyan Tree. We understand that continued development within Doha Oasis involves construction. However, residents were previously advised that work would take place within defined operating hours, and this has not consistently been the case. There have been occasions when construction-related activity has continued until 10:00 p.m. and sometimes close to midnight. Even when the later work involves activities such as moving or dumping materials, the noise remains clearly audible and disruptive during normal sleeping hours. The situation is made considerably worse by an existing maintenance issue in our residence. The sliding door in our main bedroom does not seal properly, allowing substantial external noise into the bedroom. We have reported this problem to Maintenance several times, yet it remains unresolved. Given that the bedroom directly faces the construction site, properly repairing and sealing this door should be treated as a priority. We also believe there should be greater coordination regarding construction hours. Banyan Tree forms part of the Doha Oasis development, and residents should reasonably expect the impact of ongoing development to be considered as part of the residential experience. At minimum, we would appreciate adherence to the construction hours previously communicated to residents and advance notice when work outside those hours is unavoidable. Additional sound-reduction measures for residences directly facing the construction should also be considered. Resolution of Resident Concerns A broader concern throughout our experience has been the amount of follow-up sometimes required to resolve relatively straightforward matters. When residents repeatedly raise the same maintenance or service issue, there should be clear ownership of the concern and a reasonable timeframe for either resolving it or providing an explanation. Greater accountability at department level would reduce repeated follow-ups and give residents greater confidence that concerns raised with the property are being addressed. Closing We are sharing this feedback as long-term residents who regularly use the property's facilities, restaurants and services. Our concerns are not based on one isolated experience, but on recurring issues that we believe deserve attention. We do not expect every request or suggestion to be accommodated. We do, however, believe it is reasonable to expect consistent service, properly maintained facilities, clear communication and appropriate follow-through when concerns are raised. We would appreciate management reviewing the matters above, particularly the outstanding sliding-door repair, construction operating hours, recreational facility maintenance and the handling of ALL Accor loyalty points. We hope this feedback leads to practical improvements for both ourselves and the wider Banyan Tree resident community.

Everything is very good. But they didn’t add my points for this stay as I asked to add my membership for All Accor many times. But still nothing is added???
