We had a fantastic stay at The Adnate. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely lady at check-in, whose bubbly personality and friendly smile made a great first impression. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and beautifully presented. The stunning artwork, from the murals outside to the incredible pieces throughout the hotel and in the rooms, stunning! Nice hotel, clean, staff pleasant and efficient. The spaces were well thought out and attractive, but breakfast starts inconveniently late and the pool is rather small for lap swimming.

After a long journey, waiting for a room is the last thing anyone needs, and I am glad Heshan was able to look after your bags and make the start of your day a little easier. Your comments on the WiFi dropping out and the breakfast start time have been passed to the relevant teams, and I will follow up on the WiFi with our IT support directly. You are right that our pool is better suited to a relaxed swim than to laps, and that is useful for us to hear from a guest who swims regularly. good in general, hotel is well located, staff is very friendly. Breakfast buffet needs improvement with space for the lids to be takeoff to be able to serve without risk of spilling, needs slightly bigger plates to avoid multiple serves and naming of the products specially sauces as this can be easily (i.e. 4 red sauces, all look exactly the same, only one was tomato sauce), other than that, is very good, definitely will stay there again.

There should be room beside each dish to set the lid down safely, the plates should let you serve yourself properly in one go, and four red sauces with no labels is not good enough when only one of them is tomato. This experience wasn't the greatest. My room, while nice, wasn't what I expected for a 5-night stay, given that I am a Platinum member of Accor. I had to mention to staff 3-4 times that my sink was blocked and needed attention. Mac at reception was an absolute delight and was so very helpful in attempting to organise this and did send someone from Maintenance but I was told they would need to look at it the following day. It wasn't seen to then, nor the day after; eventually, on Friday late arvo, it was taken seriously and taken care of. But it really shouldn't have gone on that long, considering I had brought it to the attention of your reception staff many times.

Dear Danielle, Thank you for coming back to stay with us, and for telling us plainly where this visit fell short. A blocked sink should not have waited until Friday afternoon to be fixed, especially after you had raised it with reception three or four times. That delay was ours, and I will be taking it up with our maintenance team so that a fault reported at the desk is followed through to the end rather than carried over to the next day. As a Platinum member on a five-night stay, you should have had a room that met your expectations from the first night. I am glad Mac looked after you so well, and I will pass your kind words on to him and to our weekend Restaurant Manager. I have also noted your comments on the WiFi speed and on needing a separate booking to extend your stay, as neither should have made the trip harder. Thank you as well for opting into the $10 voucher in place of daily servicing. I hope to welcome you back soon and to give you the stay you are used to having with us. Stay was fine but room was too close to lift so quite noisy. Also the lifts are not great with how difficult they are to get the key card to register in them.
