The Olsen was a very friendly place to stay. It is well located on Chapel Street, with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made the stay easy and welcoming.That said, the hotel is starting to look a little tired and could benefit from some upgrades. Even though the rooms are comfortable, they do feel a bit worn; the wooden flooring is chipped in places and the elevators make a terrible banging sound, which is quite noticeable.Overall, despite these maintenance issues, our stay was still easy, painless and comfortable, and the location and staff were definite highlights.

Wanted a relaxing holiday but was woken up by construction happening next door at 8 am on both Friday and Saturday morning. Hotel should take measures to update their website to inform potential customers of construction activity so customers can make a decision accordingly. Was expecting better from a hotel under the Accor brand.

Room service fee is a bit rude and expensive if you are ordering several meal's per day. Even for a dinner and desert it was going to be $14 on top so I didn't bother. I discussed ordering both and one to come 30min later but after checking with a supervisor I was told no, it's 2 charges.
