This place defied a slightly tired appearance by turning out to be a great base for a family break in Port Douglas. It’s well located near the town centre and close to the beach. All staff members were very helpful and room service could not be faulted. The dining area looked a bit dowdy but the inclusive breakfast was well prepared good honest fare. We cooked in or ate out for other meals (there are several good options nearby) The pool was large well kept and ideal for youngsters who loved the sand underfoot.

Very different to the rest of our Australian tour. Somewhere to relax. A huge apartment with lots of facilities. Overlooking a fantastic beach like pool. Close to 4 mile beach and the town with plenty choice in restaurants & lovely harbour. Staff were lovely, couldn’t be more helpful. Food and drink was its weakness. Only ate there once on a night & one breakfast, both were ok. The one night we returned parched from a long tour, the bar had disappointingly closed at 5pm, Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a relaxing environment, geared mostly towards families. A welcome contrast to our other mostly busy city hotels. We would definitely stay again.
