This hotel is shown as a 5* hotel to me that means my expectations are of finesse and extra luxuries Sad to say non of that is available here . No bathroom extras just pump bottle necessities . No mini bar in the room . The room was quite stark. The spa that was on the balcony was just a bath with jets! The breakfast was just what was available , if you wanted anything different I was told the chef ‘can’t do special orders’ Although when I asked another chef directly he was more than happy to oblige and remembered each morning and asked if I would like it again . The breakfast area is very self service . If you want any specialised coffee not an out of the coffee machines , you will be charged extra ! The staff in the cafe are ok The outside of the hotel looks lovely the pool is gorgeous , beautifully kept by Alex and here the 5* look is apparent On day 3 I asked for the bed to be changed , on day 4 I asked for the room to be cleaned as a 5* I expected that every day It is definitely a fur coat and no knickers hotel and a 3* at best On the plus side it is in the perfect position re it’s proximity to the town and the beach but that is circumstantial Lower your expectations re the hotel and you will be ok

The beds are comfortable and rooms are lovely. Its close to the main street and 4 mile Beach. The spa on the balcony is really good and the pool area is relaxing and clean with a beach feel. Its great to have a little drink by the pool. Only issues were the housekeeping was quite ordinary. They rarely replenished coffee and amenities and as there was rarely anyone sitting at reception i needed to call them several times to have things brought to the room. Our sheets were never changed for the hole stay we were there 7 nights and there was a mark on the top sheet but it was only ever pulled up the bottom sheet felt gritty. We are at the restaurant one night and it was disappointing for a facility rated as a 5 star. We probably wouldn't eat there again of we stayed again I also didn't expect access to room to be by stairs so I declined having a porter take our bags to our room. Luckily my husband could carry the suitcase up 2 flights of stairs but if you can't manage it definitely agree for the porter to help. Car park was good and secure
