It was nice but the room wasn’t clean the pool & outdoor bbq area were very dirty no gas in the bbq and the kitchen utensils were very minimal we were disappointed with these things considering the amount it cost but if these things were rectified then it is a beautiful spot

Came here for my Honeymoon and was very happy with the warm staff and location. Certain amenities like the jacuzzi and TV need some remodeling/renewing, but overall a good stay!

We hosted a conference at the hotel. Communications with the hotel was very slow and information was not always complete. I forgot items, and only the ones I requested were returned, while others still forgotten but remembered later were never returned. Hotel refuses to add earned points to my ALL account, even though these details were provided. Conference dinner was tasty but the service was a bit all over the place. The sound system we paid for separately, was patchy.

Amazing accomodation. Would have been even better if the pool bar stayed open a little longer and there was a bit more lighting at night for the kids to swim.

Disappointing Stay - unclean - needs maintenance

We checked in to Sea Temple and unfortunately the Gas was down for Port Douglas mains. This is no issue as there was nothing that could be done as was external to the hotel, however, didn't leave much preference for eating and restraunt. A simple benchtop fryer may have been able to at least assist with chips. Pool bar was only able to serve pizza or salad but couldn't do burgers or sandwhichs. We got to the room and ultimately it wasn't in the cleanest condition. Fan was already on at the time, but after checking out the next day we woke up to find dust and debris all over the ceiling and turned off the fan to find it had excessive dust covering the blades appearing to be a few weeks worth of dust on the fan and ceiling. Tv wasn't in a location that was convenient to the room and allowed use of it effectively. Cupboard to kitchenette were out of line and didn't close properly with the bar fridge unbalanced and broken feet. The bathroom cupboards had broken hinges and the spa bath pump internal to the cupboard was inches think with dust. Also noted that the Fan capacitor was probably blown as the fan only worked on 1x speed. It appears that the owner of the unit needs to take some time to repair their property or arrange a handyman. Clean was not to a hotel standard and are very disappointed with the overall condition of the unit. We were here for our anniversary,and after getting married at Sea Temple Palm Cove in May this year, we expected the same level and quality in Port Douglas however was very disappointed. Being frequent accor members and spend quite abit of time in Port Douglas this stay was below average. Was reported at check out, however, haven't received a follow up or apologies since checking out. Would be interested to see if our report was noted and rectified.
