On a work trip, but in the off-season for tourism at Port Douglas. Still plenty of tourists happy to enjoy the warmth and humidity! There are several Mantras in Port Douglas, and all of them seem very close to the centre of the village. Room was large, with a view onto the street and adjacent to the pool. Reception only open during office hours, but no real problem. Undercover parking in the basement. Didn't use the spa on the verandah. All went well!

The rooms were clean and fresh. We didn't use the spa bath. Hopefully next time. Shops, bars, beach were all within walking distance. very friendly staff. A pleasure to stay there.

I booked early and requested top floor room overlooking Grant St but was given top floor room overlooking the Pool. I opened drawers in Kitchen to find it pooled in water, apparently housekeeping had defrosted the fridge and ice melted into drawers. No hairdryer in bathroom, however was given one after asking twice. Reception staff were helpful though. I will book again next year as I am a return visitor

Our stay at the Mantra in the Village in Port Douglas was generally good experience. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Port Douglas, close to shops, cafes, and the beach, making it easy to explore without needing to drive. The room itself was spacious, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable, especially after long days out.
