Very disappointing simply because the room was poorly furnished and maintained. Examples such as king bed too large so no space for left side bedside table, the clock radio did not work and switch on the only lamp was faulty. Also teatowell, detergent provided to wash dishes but no plug for cracked vanity sink. Also note standard is comprised when it is very difficult to speak personally to staff.

The bed was great, the cleanliness was poor.

Great location, great staff. The bed was comfortable which is a major thumbs up. But the cleanliness of the room was terrible. All of the walls where marked with either splashes of coffee/liquid, or in the bathroom bin juices!!! The roof is moldy and the fan is thick with dust. The roof needs a massive clean.

I'll start wih the rough start, we arrived 40 min early to check in and were told on the phone that our room was not quite available and to come back at 2, so we decided to just wait the 30min or so minutes at 2:05 someone in housekeeping or maintenance saw us and rang to get someone to come for us to check in telling us someone was on their way and would be there soon. We then waited until 2:20 and called to see what was happening to be told that our room was not ready and they took our number and promised us a call in 5 minutes so we then decided to go and get a coffee, after 45 minutes we decided to go back and find out why no one called to then be told our room had been ready since 2 and she was wondering why we hadn't came to check in. It was rather frustrating start as it was now close to 2 hours since when we tried to check in That being said after that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the Mantra, we have stayed at 2 of the other Mantra's in Port and loved the room at the Inlet, it was lovely with so much space and having the balcony to enjoy was fantastic. The staff that we did see were very helpful and friendly and the facilities and rooms were kept clean to a very high standard. I guess the only other niggle was on the last day, we had housekeeping come to our door to set up a sofa bed we had not asked for so we mentioned that we did not want them to as we were not checking out for another day and never requested the sofa bed being only 2 of us in the room. We then came back from the beach hours later to find that these instuctions had been completely ignored and the sofa bed was set up in our room. Thanks

We had a wonderful time, comfy bed, great pillows, facilities were very good and the room very clean. A bit noisy but you are very close to the hotels and restaurants. Great central location. Staff were good, however its not manned all the time. Good access to spacious carpark, and whilst they has no lifts it has a baggage lift. The pool was great and very inviting.

It was ok except we were given a very small room and there were a lot of stairs to navigate with our luggage.It is in a fab location just beside the courthouse hotel ver central.

Upon afternoon arrival the reception desk was closed. There are no lifts to upper floors and the luggage lift cage was inoperable.

It was ok. Nice room. Needed to have the toilet fixed twice. Gave us 2 drink vouchers. We had to walk 2k to the other resort as this one doesn’t serve drinks. Walked down only to find out its for a soft drink only. Be nice to have that explained. Extended our stay via phone so they wouldn’t let me use our promotional code. We stay at this Mantra twice a year. All leaves a sour taste

Unable to contact by phone on local number, had to ring national number. Reception has minimal attendance and closed from 4pm. Toilet blocked, my ‘park view’ was overlooking a dirty iron roof within the complex. Luggage lift very stiff and doors hard to close.

This is a lovely hotel .Our room had a balcony and spa and great air conditioning as well as fans. The staff were welcoming and helpful .The hotel is just across the road from where the local markets are held,and right next to fabulous if somewhat pricey restaurants - cheaper alternatives can be found a short walk away ,as can Coles.. . A great kick off point for strolls along the inlet t or up to the lookout. The pool is private and surrounded by tropical plants clean and a lovely place for a cooling off after you've done battle with the somewhat clunky baggage lift .

The room actually exceeded our expectations. Bit of confusion when checking in using the black phone on the wall - and no parking card supplied but nothing major. The baggage lift malfunctioned when we were leaving which caused some stress as we were on a schedule to catch a flight but the maintenance guy turned up within minutes and all was well.

We really wanted a view of the water but our view of anything was blocked by a large mango tree. Friends who did not request a water view were given one.
