As a couple in our 50's, we appreciated the room size and layout. However, putting us in the room across the road from a pub, plus a pub on either side of the room, was quite a poor choice. I understand the location, however, the hotel did not appear full. Any other room on the other side would have been a hell of a lot quieter than the room we had. Finally got to sleep after 1am after celebrating our wedding anniversary was not good.

Good location, nice pool but not one at reception for the entire stay. No soap in the shower for the entire stay, some mould in the shower and almost ran out of toilet paper as only one roll was supplied.

Guys, no one to greet us, ACCOR Gold and the comment of its not mandatory to do upgrade or welcome items is at best a little disappointing. Sorry Sir we don't have any linen to do an upgrade is soft at best. On checking you were still selling one bedroom appts for the same night! Never saw a person who worked there just a note and empty desk. Not great guys at all. That said great location and will come back but this experience was not good.
