We are grateful for our holiday with you but wouldn’t choose this accommodation again as it was quite old and dated, it felt a bit dirty and too used. Table leg wobbly, rusty dryer, sign flung into the garden area, ants in the kitchen and a cockroach in the bed. Only cleaned once in our 10 day stay which was disappointing

I read reviews after I had already booked and was worried about the choice I had made, however I could not find fault with the property. We arrived late at night and found the self-check-in procedure very easy to do. I was concerned about stairs (as read on reviews) as my husband uses a walking stick, 3 steps into garage, lift up to top floor then 4 steps to our room, he managed very easily. We had a dual access room (3 of us) and both rooms were very clean and tidy, beds comfortable and main balcony very spacious. We would definitely stay here again but would book a swim-out room next time, they were not available this time.

Hotel was very well located in Port Douglas, but we had a very sad feeling room. Bathroom inbetween the balcony and the bedroom and no other windows which made the bedroom very dark. Only place to sit was outside which was fine but the view was of the back of the sign and an ampol. Just wasn't very comfortable all in all

Amazing pool area very clean and tidy. Nice good sized rooms. Tv in our room was old and watching the AFL grand final wasn’t easy but otherwise an excellent hotel and would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom dual key swim out room. The access to the pool and the pool itself was amazing and the kids loved it. The location of the hotel was central and easy access to the main street. The cons were the load noises from the adjacent Coles carpark throughout the night and the rooms could do with a little refresh.

The rooms below standard, linen was not changed , rubbish was not collected .no toaster,microwave or any cooking appliances. There was no security on the property any one could walk in off the street The view from our room was a garden full of dead plants and weeds The pool was so dirty we were not able to use it.There were leaves and debris all over the bootom .The was a hair tie and a ring on the bottom of the pool all week,it was not cleaned or vacuumed once

At Mantra Heritage, full housekeeping services are provided for stays of eight nights or more, which is why linen changes and rubbish collection are not automatically scheduled during shorter stays. The unusually high winds during that period resulted in leaves and debris entering the pool more frequently than normal, although our team continued to attend to the area as required. Your feedback regarding the room facilities, garden area and property access has also been noted and shared with the relevant teams for review. The location is perfect and staff are very friendly. The bed is comfortable and sheets were clean. This is however were the positives stop. I used my Accor Gold membership to book as it was a little last minute, this enabled a room in what was advertised as fully booked. However the room was not guest ready. Every flat surface was covered in a layer of visible dust. The door between the bedroom and bathroom was off its hinges and the upper track highly damaged. Then there was the roller blind in the bathroom that was stuck half up, the cord broken and out of its track. To top it off the mould in the shower area was built up, mop marks on the floor and hair in the door tracks to the balcony. The balcony was dirty and a cigarette butt was also lying on the floor. For one night I made do, but for $365 much more was expected.

Great spot, staff lovely and helpful. Room was great expect the shower was very dirty and yuck in the corners, looked like black mould, not great with a 2 year old! But other than that great. A bit hard with 4 flights of stairs with a pram and child, wish the lift had access to all floors.
