We enjoyed the stay only it was hard to get in the pool from our swim out as we are oldies. Felt like we were intruding in other people space to use steps. Room was comfortable.

Thanks for the great poolside room which we had pretty much to ourselves. We did meet another couple from Adelaide and had a couple of poolside chats - they said they have been coming here for the past 10 + years. The Hotel staff are great too. A few things to note - the overflow from the gutters was discharging to a fence below that was a bit annoying - bit loud (heavy rain but could be rectified with a downpipe or the like to reduce the splash). Shower door hits the shower head but its still a great shower. Not sure if the extraction fan was doing its job - bit of mould appearing on the cornice - didn't affect our stay. The safe instructions were slightly misleading but friendly staff sorted that out for us (might be a me thing). Cant help a Cyclone (Narelle) from shutting off the power so we couldnt get in but when we found the right number to call we were let in very quickly - the guy just appeared and sorted us out - very impressive response time. A torch wouldve been handy though - lucky i had our own pocket torch and iphones 1/2 charged. There was an elderly lady locked out also and was let in at the same time. Not sure where she went but was happy to be back inside. Toilet seat could be tightened as it felt like i was sitting side saddle - kept on moving to the left. The shower took some time for the hot water to come through. Fridge was slightly noisy (bit dated but still kept the beers cold). But the big one was the aircon packing it in. I should have reported it earlier in the stay but one thing leads to another and i didnt get round to it until it finally wasnt working at all on our last night. Staff arranged a second room two doors away but we didnt use it - too hard to move all the bags and the misses didnt want to change rooms - i would have but you know what they say - happy wife, happy life. All in all though we loved the place and really enjoyed it with all its minor quirks ive pointed out. We'll come back some day when we can get time off from our boring Melbourne jobs. Thank you,
