The Sebel Quay West Auckland is just minutes from the city's iconic Viaduct Harbour and Downtown shopping precinct - making it the ideal apartment stay for visitors looking to experience the best in retail therapy, waterfront views and fine dining. Take a stroll down Queen Street, explore the Britomart Precinct, or head to shopping hotspots in nearby Parnell, Newmarket and Ponsonby. Afterwards, head back to the Viaduct to relax by the harbour and indulge in local cuisine.

The property will be undertaking an exterior painting upgrade from December 2025 to July 2026. These works will take place during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. My room was not setup for my family. The pull out bed was broken and it said if we pulled it out we would be charged. It was all filthy inside and carpets could do with a clean. The manager resolved the issue well and provided good customer service bringing 2 beds to the room also providing a credit for the cafe. This resolved the issue. The pool, gym and sauna were lovely. With better room prep and clean the rating would be higher next time. Would also be good if the welcome drinks situation was advised when we arrived.

Our stay was short but the central location was good to have. Unfortunately issues due to the single lift caused us to face delays.

Good to experience the hotel. It’s quite old fashioned but has great big rooms. The bed was really hard though

We paid for an upgraded room. Two friends stayed as well and they were upgraded for free at check in to the same room. That's fine. I understand that. But why were they given rooms without scaffolding blocking every window with a view of the water but that's what we got? I have pictures from the free room versus our room. Not to mention I couldn't even keep my curtains open during the day because there were men outside my windows.
