The Sebel Quay West Auckland is just minutes from the city's iconic Viaduct Harbour and Downtown shopping precinct - making it the ideal apartment stay for visitors looking to experience the best in retail therapy, waterfront views and fine dining. Take a stroll down Queen Street, explore the Britomart Precinct, or head to shopping hotspots in nearby Parnell, Newmarket and Ponsonby. Afterwards, head back to the Viaduct to relax by the harbour and indulge in local cuisine.

The property will be undertaking an exterior painting upgrade from December 2025 to June 2026. These works will take place during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. Great location, literally metres from harbour, restaurants everywhere, right in the heart of it, HUGE apartment, great balcony, lost a star as it is dated and needs a refurbishment and the rooms are desperately in need of an update, but that is more than made up for in the fact of the location and amenities around it, getting in quite an issue though, arrived today with loads of bags, and staff watched as I had to fumble around to open the door with fob/key, understand security but this was 3.30pm and 2 staff just stood and stared. Up cafe looked great but didnt try it and not open on weekends or after 3 but loads of food options locally, really great place

Always try and stay at accor hotels but I wouldnt come back. Didnt feel clean, dishwasher was broken. No breakfast included. I requested parking and they let us in and then I find a tow message on my car .

Good stay. rooms are so spacious and the location is great. other than the lobby the hotel is tired. Bathroom is chipped and worn and had a funky smell. lift out of order

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment (room 2207). The photos looked great and the location was perfect, we were excited for a 2 night stay in Auckland with our kids. Unfortunately upon arrival we realised we'd paid $1200 for a very old and dated apartment in dire need of a renovation. Everywhere you looked was cheap, old (I'm not talking vintage here) furnishings. The floors were marked, windows were filthy, wind whistling through the closed windows, cupboard doors with gaping gaps in the kitchen cabinetry, flaking paint, old appliances. We were devastated to have spent money on something so shabby. We found out that half the building is made up of permanent residents and that it is not a hotel as such, but rather each apartment is rented out separately, with the individual owner responsible for updating their own apartment. Perhaps the worst and most worrying thing was this. Having 3 children with us we'd deliberately booked a place with a washing machine and drier. Before we headed out on the first day we left the drier on with 30mins left on the timer. This drier looks like something from 30 years ago but still, it did the job and I was happy. When we returned 4 hours later the drier was still on and the clothes inside were dried to a crisp, basically on the verge of combusting. Looking at the dial i could see it had never moved from the 30min spot I set it at. To me this seems like a huge fire risk. Owners, residents and traveller's beware. The saving grace for this place was the view, the staff, the location and the pool. We made the most of it and when checking out they gave us the parking for free due to our complaints. There is no way I'd ever stay there again, I do not recommend.
