It was disappointing. At no time during booking or prior to arrival was I informed of the maintenance being carried out on the building. There was scaffolding obstructing views from the balcony, one lift wasn't working and guest were advised to use the service lift which smelt disgusting. There was no milk in the fridge upon arrival.

In particular, we apologise that you were not informed in advance of the maintenance work taking place in the building. The presence of scaffolding affecting your balcony view and the disruption caused by lift servicing are not the standard of experience we aim to provide. We also regret the inconvenience caused by one of the lifts being out of service and the need for guests to use the service lift, which you found unpleasant. Please be rest assure your comments have been taken seriously and will be addressed with the relevant teams to improve both communication and guest experience during maintenance periods and room preparation. One lift was in service. We were encouraged to use the service lift. The entire floor smelt like the rubbish shoot. The room was out dated and not what I expected from an Accor Hotel.

We also sincerely apologise that the service lift and surrounding area had an unpleasant odour, which significantly impacted your comfort. It is also concerning to hear that the condition of your room did not meet the standards you expected from an Accor property. We regret that the room felt outdated and not reflective of the quality experience we aim to deliver.
