Located.centrally, staff.were very friendly and helpful and room was very well appointed. Unfortunately air conditioning did not work and the indoor pool was out of action which we were not told about. Tis meant we had to use free vouchers for public pool down road

Nice rooms Lots of road works. Can't get near the place with a car if travelling from outside Auckland. No bar or communal area to sit on site and relax. On the plus side.. staff are nice. Not quite the standard of an Accor hotel I have previously stayed. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room / facilities are outdated, carpet was stained, hallways etc had carpet pulled away from walls, walls stripped of wallpaper, light bulbs in hallway not working

I was upgraded to a bigger room which was great and had a seperate lounge. Very handy to Auckland CBD. Parking was easy and access good. I have stayed here before and recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in the CBD

Good but very dated, Reno’s everywhere, half the facilities closed.

Staff were great, the interior of the room was tired and in need of an update. Food to have a separate bedroom from the living area. The new building being erected in front meant that there was noise going on very early and sometimes a after dark too. What I would like to have is an option of having your room serviced each day or when required and the price to be reduced if daily service is not required. Thanks

I was transferred to the Sebel Quay West due to a booking error of the sister hotel. The two gentlemen at the reception did everything to male me feel welcome and appreciated as a guest. They provided me with free transport and a bottle of prosecco as compensation. It was an exceptional stay.

The hotel should have prewarned that it is undergoing refurbishment prior to me making the booking.

Painting was ongoing, wall paper was removed, ie it looked like a construction zone and I have to pay good money (high rates) to stay there as if it was in normal operating condition? Also have to leave hotel door opened for painter to access when I leave for work for 2 of the days. Not sure if.all floors are the same condition as I should have been relocated to other floors! Hotel should provide a free 4 night stay after it is refurbished to compensate for the bad experience.

The team receive tremendous feedback from our guests year after year, so I am disappointed this was not the case for you. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it is apparent in this case that we fell short. I’m truly sorry to read the issues you experienced during your recent stay with us. Please be assured that this is not the kind of service that we would like to offer to our guests and I completely understand your dissatisfaction. We apologise for this bad experience and that the hotel was undergoing a soft refurbishment in the corridors during your stay. This is a temporary refurbishment as we were in the process of upgrading the wallpapers and carpets in the corridors. The management team are aware of this and are working really hard to complete this as soon as possible, which has almost come to an end at this stage. I am terribly sorry for all the issues once again and I hope you would give us another opportunity to better serve you in the future.
