The hotel is well located in Auckland’s Central Business District. It’s very close to bus stops and Auckland Harbour. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars around. The room was quite large and very clean. The customer service was top-notch. The rooms just need a bit of refurbishment because they look a bit old.

When we arrived, we were given keys to a room that already had occupants inside. It was around 1am, and the situation was quite distressing for both them and us. After that, I was moved to another room, but I noticed it didn’t have deadbolts, which left me feeling unsafe. Later, while I was jet lagged and resting, cleaners entered the room—I hadn’t heard their knocking—which added to my sense of discomfort and lack of privacy. Given these experiences, I didn’t feel at ease continuing my stay, so I made the decision to cancel the remaining 11 nights.

I am truly sorry for the distressing and uncomfortable experiences you encountered during your arrival and stay. Being given access to an occupied room in the middle of the night is completely unacceptable, and I can only imagine how upsetting and alarming that must have been for both you and the other guests involved. Please accept my sincere apologies for this serious error. I am also very sorry to hear that your subsequent room did not provide you with a sense of security, and that the situation was further compounded by housekeeping entering while you were resting. I understand how these events would have made it extremely difficult for you to feel safe, comfortable, or able to relax during your stay. We take guest safety, privacy, and security very seriously, and it is clear that on this occasion we did not meet those standards. Your experience has been escalated to our senior management team for immediate review so that these processes are thoroughly investigated and strengthened. I regret that these issues led to your decision to shorten your stay, and I sincerely apologise for the impact this had on your travel plans. Doing construction to the façade of the building. There is only one lift working. Which makes it very difficult if you’re on a higher floor.

Lovely stay in this centrally located and spacious apartment. Very well located to Ferry terminal, the centre of the City and coffee shops and restaurants. We had a lovely view. Apartment was a little dated with broken PowerPoints and the beds need updating.
