What an amazing place to be. Luxury hotel. We went there for dinner, group of 4. excellent service and food. Attentive staff. I really enjoyed the lamb. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Great cocktail as well.

Very clean with lovely bathrooms. Facilities in the room were good. Nespresso machines and a big teapot were a good plus. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was able to be made very dark. Perfect for recovering from jet lag. Excellently situated for the restaurants and bars on the seafront, as well as shops.

The Fable is a gorgeous place to stay. Was gifted from my children for my birthday and the staff truely made the effort to ensure we were looked after. Outstanding customer service when arriving followed with checking in being accompanied with mini cup of tea and brownie, great touch for first impression. The staff were welcoming the entire stay, personalised card and macaroon when arriving at our luxury room which was styled very art deco feel and classy. We experienced the High Tea during our stay which was absolutely divine accompanied with the trio of cocktails, well worth the money, would have to be the best one I have had. You won’t be disappointed choosing to stay at this hotel, well positioned amongst quality shops and close to the waterfront, very central.

We were in Auckland for a wedding and had a 4 night stay at the Fable. A lovely hotel nestled in on Queens Street. It felt really boutique with the service we received and a number of staff knowing us by name by the second day. A big shout out for the concierge team and Mark who help organise and help us book our days. We also give a big shout out to the restaurant team, the food and service was fantastic, all the staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. A special thank you to Gaurav, a great sense of humour and to Umut for making us feel at home. Umut also mixes some amazing cocktails so even if you don’t stay there, pop in for dinner and sample the cocktails.

Poor service, underwhelming room

Iron was faulty and ruined a pair of pants required for work that week. Reported this, and a few other issues with the room (broken bathroom shelf, ironing board with burnt cover, phone had no dialling instructions to call reception etc.) to reception with no action. Had a junior suite but not really a seperate sitting area.
