just so so + check in => warm welcome; + room well equipped + well located - room no windows / noise ( discotheque) - cleaness: careless ( teapot no clean, no brush cup in the bathroom) - bad service during breakfast ( no hello, no usher to seat, long preparation of meal)

The hotel was well appointed and staff extremely friendly ,we booked a junior suite , unfortunately the lounge area was very small and not what we were expecting the couches were squashed against a wall and it was uncomfortable and claustrophobia to use this space . We stayed in room 805 and it was extremely noisy at night from the bars below music went until 2-3 pm in the morning , disappointing as the hotel had a really nice feel .

Great checkin experience with tea on arrival. Quick and no waiting. Super comfy bed. Modern clean room and bathroom and all the little bathroom extras.

Apart from having to walk 3 blocks to the hotel due to the Santa Parade on the day we arrived, it was a lovely stay. Our trip was a city break away and our first to AKL. Hotel location super, but a bit noisy at night with the boy racers out in force. Staff super, ever so helpful. Rooms a tag small and maybe different furniture choice would have allowed a desk area to be included.

Hotel did not honour Accor price guarantee

After booking on Accor website, i found the same room cheaper on Wotif. I lodged a price match guarantee on the Accor website. The hotel did not match the price (less 10%), so I paid full price. I am very upset by Accor, and am looking to cancel my Accor Plus membership, and will never stay at this hotel again

I was upgraded to a room which was right next to the bar/nightclub. I rang to change room and apparently there were none left and the music should stop at 3.30/4am. and I was offered ear plugs for the sound. After being up since 4am travelling from Melbourne for work I was needing a good sleep which I did not have.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay, except that I was unfortunately ill after eating the chicken pie I ordered from room service. I had no other food that day except for breakfast so could only put it down to the chicken pie. In saying that, I'm not complaining as the rest of my experience was perfect, room, staff, breakfast etc.

It was a very short stay, but the room was great, staff friendly and helpful. My one complaint is please please please put in proper hairdryers that you don't need to hold the button on to make them work - it is one of my greatest hotel bug bears and not what I expect in a higher level hotel.

During our stay, we were overcharged for breakfast and was wrongfully being charged on mini bar consumption upon check out. This is such a disappointment considering the high expectations we have during our stay.
