Beautiful hotel in a historical building with a great location. Amazing spa with enormous swimming pool surrounded by relaxation areas. Food was good. Now, where the hotel fails is a loyalty, treatment and personalized service. I am a platinum member Accor ALL but I felt myself a number at the hotel. It seemed that nothing had been prepared for our arrival and I had to beg and push for the most basic loyalty benefits. Didn’t receive an early check-in and getting a late check-out until 2pm was like I’m asking too much. A room upgrade wasn’t offered proactively, but I had to requested it. The Singapore Sling, a signature cocktail of Raffles, was one of the worst we have ever had. The room was tiny and its interior design boring. It didn’t reflect the soul of Raffles, could have been in any mediocre chain hotel. The view we had from the room was a wall. No pre-arrival communication and at the hotel we found out that the restaurant we wanted to dine at was closed due to a private event. The hotel offers a free use of car with a chauffeur for hotel guests but the service was never available when we requested it. Also, the hotel refuses to take customers to tube and railway stations. How arrogant is that! Instead they offered to call us a taxi. The service recovery after my complaint was satisfactory. However, we encountered way too many issues during our stay so that it wasn’t relaxing but stressful. The level of service is unacceptable for a five-star luxury hotel that charges over 1,000 euros per night in the cheapest room category.

I think this is the first time in my life that the hotel (its beauty, its history, its elegance) and ALL the staff we saw during our stay, are truly and fully part of our successful London experience. We came to celebrate our 10th anniversary and you were the witnesses of this celebration, thank you! We'll definitely be back!

Top-notch concierge. A variety of restaurants. Perfect location for staying in London. The following improvements need to be made. The room design did not consider an individual doing their hair. There is no place in the room where one can blow dry or curl their hair in front of a mirror. We had to ask for a free-standing mirror, which was no problem. Second, they only sometimes refilled the Nespresso pods and milk, so we had to call down 3 mornings for a refill.

We loved the hotel, amazing!! The service could have been better. On arrival we had a long wait to check in, Cathal saved the day with some champs but not sure why was so slow. We then went for a sandwich at the small cafe close to salon on the ground floor. The person working here could not have been less interested in service. This was around 2.30pm on Saturday 19th of Oct. Breakfast was lovely, again though very slow service. We were seating and then another couple beside us. The girl then went and took the couple after us order, it was very strange. Our server on Sunday morning was also not the most friendly and seems out of place with the standard I would assume from a hotel like Raffles. Would we come back, I am honestly not sure. We loved the hotel, the room, the decor, the location and the food but the service from the staff in the cafes and restaurants was not what we would expect at this price point.

Great Bar & staff in the Guards Room Paper Moon food and service fantastic Café Lapérouse - food poor ( Fish was cold & rubbery ) / service and general atmosphere a little amateurish Breakfast not bad - ambience in the Saison needs to be warmed up a little - service a little slow Rooms nice but a little soulless We had a great time, but for the price, our general thoughts were that we would try elsewhere for our next couple of trips prior to considering coming back Not top class yet.
