This was my first time staying both in Bilbao and at an Ibis Budget and I was really impressed. The hotel is about 10 minute bus ride from the train station (I had travelled from France) and a short walk (5 mins) from the tram/bus stop. I had a warm welcome from the team on the desk when I arrived including some really helpful tips on where to catch public transport and what to visit during my stay - some like the Guggenheim were very close. The room was lovely - very clean and enough space for a solo traveller with a really comfy bed (with double duvet and not two singles - thank you!) which has plug sockets and USB ports each side. The window looks out onto the middle of the building so you see the windows of other rooms so the blind needed to be down for privacy. This wasn't a problem as I didn't spend much time in the room to be honest as I was out sightseeing. The shower and small sink were 'in the room' so to speak but that was not a problem at all. All the members of staff I came in contact with from the cleaners to the staff on reception were so lovely. The breakfast had a good selection of food which was well presented and was fresh. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel again given the location and the quality of the stay.

Room was very cold and i asked them to fix it. They have said they fixed it but didnt change anything Also room was very small. Of course this was not about service.
