We had 2 nights at Ibis in central Bilbao. The location was ideal for exploring all the sites we wanted to see by foot.The room well protected from outside noise, was well designed with sufficient space for our luggage, the bed comfortable. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Although not needed by us, it was a great idea to provide items such as a toothbrush, comb, sewing kit - often forgotten by travelers. A very choice for breakfast. A much appreciated bonus having dedicated parking below the hotel.

We didn’t like the paper cups but we did like the distribution of water to drink, however we would prefer a kettle in the bedroom. Also the provision of food in the bar very poor.

Great location and easy to park the car. Room just fine. Had breakfast twice out of 3 nights. Bit of a scrum first day and some things ran out. Staff helpful. Lifts are a limitation at times.

The only problem I had was with the magnetic stripe card. I had to get mine re-magnetized 4 separate times! Please switch to using RFID (i.e., chip) cards instead, like most modern hotels these days.

Excellent staff at reception, especially Gabriel, and efficient breakfast support staff. Comfortable rooms, clean hotel, parking very convenient. Avoid staying at 5th floor with noise from lifts and from an intermittent banging from the roof, that keeps awaking several times during the night. It was reported but without avail. Well located with Tapas restaurant nearby that fits Bilbao atmosphere. 15 min from Guggenheim and other attractions.

I never leave reviews , I am too busy. But I am going out of my way to comment. I had various challenges to deal with, and the staff were simply tremendous.So kind, good humoured, patient, attentive. They really put a human face to Ibis. I want to make special mention of Virginia and Tatiana, at reception. Really like Angels.I'm amazed, really. I don't know where management found them, but I am certain they won't remain at reception for long! They are clearly so capable and skilled and so good at customer relations, I can see them in executive roles very soon. Thank you so much for the memorable experience. I'll be telling everyone!

The location of the Hotel is excellent, having its garage parking is also a big plus for road trip travelers like us. Unfortunately arriving late means staying with the last spot which was extremely difficult to park. The breakfast was excellent with the variety and quality of what was served. Rooms were nice but cleaning could improve a notch.

We where there for a 4 day getaway. The room has the essentials and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be the wooden shower mat.
