Booked two nights prior to ferry back to UK, well connected to centre of Bilbao and 15 minutes from Port. Late checkout was helpful, room was clean, staff friendly and breakfast very good.

Warm welcome on arrival and lovely comfortable room. The only 2 things stopping my grade being a 10 are firstly shortage of parking, there are designated parking spaces for electric vehicles but they were all occupied by workers vans none of which were electric and obviously no one in the hotel monitors this. Secondly, Whilst I enjoyed the breakfast the coffee machine ran out before I could get a cup and after pointing this out to the person in the restaurant it took 15 to be refilled, this is because after opening the machine they kept stopping to serve walk in customers rather than concentrating on actual residents

Air conditioning in bedroom not operational making sleeping very uncomfortable. Switched off in hotel???? No dedicated UK TV channels just some random programmes on some channels. These are long standing issues with IBIS hotels. Don’t know why we keep using them, will be reconsidering for the future.

Great location for Bilbao central and Ferry

We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it. However on this visit a little respect, courteousness and consideration at the reception desk had gone astray. My wife specifically requested a room with net curtains particularly facing the budget hotel opposite where there is little privacy and did not want to stay in a room with the main curtains closed without daylight. He promptly placed us in a room in which we had just told him we did not want. When complaining he very reluctantly changed the room to one facing the car park which was a little better as it was not overlooked. However he stated that all rooms are same and he would NOT change it again if not satisfied. We did have a look at some of the windows and some did have NET curtains!! His manner was quite rude and wonder where customer service gone??
