Mercure Shanghai Hongqiao SOHO 4 stars

It was super. Loved staying here. The metro across the street is convenient.

Room is fantastic with new AI control panel (too bad cannot command in English). Restaurant food is poor as they dont know how to make soup!!

It was great, except no swimming pool !! You have a large lawn at the back side of the hotel that can be easily built into a nice heated swimming pool. Another thing, please serve chicken/beef items during breakfast, a lot of guests don't eat pork !!

I loved the hotel. Room and staff good. Breakfast room need more space thoug.

I got to the hotel via Metro. Exit 5 Songhong Road Station. Stairs are a bit much if you have heavy bags but turn right and walk about 50 meter. Cross the road and you have arrived. The check in process was simple and immediately recognised as an Accor Silver Member. All done very well. The room is very satisfactory. Everything clean and modern. All you would expect of a Mercure. Breakfast is good but my main issue is that there are not enough sitting places and found I had to ask someone if I could share a table. As long as you are willing to accept the hotel is quite outside the city center the positioning of the hotel near the station means that getting to many places is simple though taking a bit of time. Line 2 metro is the one you would want to have access to as many of the things you want to do are on that line. The area around the hotel does not have that many shopping facilities so keep that in mind if regarding if you need anything. I highly recommend the hotel and would be my first choice for the next trip to Shanghai.

This is a silence and HITEC hotel.All staff is so kindly.Just one substation to Hongqiao Airport.

It was a really beautiful hotel, and I felt welcome and comfortable. The staff was all very helpful, and I loved that the location was right by a subway stop. I do wish I could have ordered room service in the evenings - the kitchen closed at 1 PM. Other than that, I'd rate this hotel as perfect.

overall the service I received during my stay was OK, but in a way quite inconsistent among different hotel staffs. To get the access of the hotel WiFi made me very uncomfortable due to its invasive way of asking for my personal identification information before I can log in

Great location and easy access to the No 2 metro, which can head to the both Hongqiao and Pudong airport directly. The room is clean and cozy and the price is reasonable. The reception cannot recognize the Accor member.

It was great stay from check in until arrival. However breakfast was not meet my expectation. Worse than holiday inn express. But hotel staffs service is better than 5 star marriott.

Room and service is more than good for business stay Location also good, there is Subway line 2 Songhong Lu station. There are many first food in front of Hotel and variety restaurant aroud the hotel

The hotel is very clean and tidy, no matter the common space or the room itself, one thing i like most about the more modern designed hotels like this one is that there's no carpet, which i think is better for hygiene.
