Me and the kids loved staying in this hotel, it was an amazing stay, from the lovely staff, amazing view, good food, and different facilities to match all ages. We love it that we will be coming back again next week, definitely the best stay we had in Fujierah, and this is the best Fairmont in the UAE. Special thanks to Ashwini, the front office duty manager, for the care and concern given during the stay and the regular checking on us to see if all was good

The shower room had water logged in. The furniture (especially the chair had stains), The overall feeling of the room was not fresh. Food option for In Room dining was very limited, breakfast menu was repeat for 2 days. The most disappointing of the stay was the Gala Night. We were with a kid and were allowed to sit very far from the food station. Even the DJ host was mostly playing Russian songs and was not worth the money charged. Food was average.

No complaints about the resort as a whole but the service lacked the usual Fairmont warmth and flair. I think of the Fairmont brand as classic and timeless and on the whole this was the case, but the family pool area felt a little gaudy and didn’t gel with the aesthetics of the brand and the rest of the hotel. I get that they wanted it to be bright and cheery for kids but the colour combinations were an assault on the senses. The service also wasn’t up to the usual standard - everyone was polite but it felt perfunctory and lacked warmth and genuine regard for the guests. Rooms were comfortable and the bedding and pillows were really great (had great sleep and was well-rested during my stay), but the living room furniture in my suite felt a bit dated. Also for the enjoyment of all guests in the outside areas, perhaps designate a section for smokers that is not upwind of other guests and children to breathe in the toxic second-hand smoke.
