Unfortunately, my recent experience at Mövenpick Ras Al Khaimah was below expectations and did not reflect the level of service I was used to from the hotel in the past. Before booking, I contacted customer service via WhatsApp to ask if breakfast could be changed to dinner because I was traveling with an infant baby and it was difficult to go down early for breakfast. However, I received no response for 3 days, which forced me to complete the booking with the breakfast option. Only after the reservation was confirmed did I receive a reply approving the change for one time only. Upon arrival, I was informed that breakfast and dinner had been added as a gesture of appreciation, but after going up to the room, this was cancelled without any clear explanation. Until now, I have still not received any response from customer service despite more than 6 days passing since my last message. I also noticed during check-in that guests are asked whether this is their first visit to the hotel, and unfortunately it seemed that first-time guests receive more attention and care than returning guests, even though loyal customers should be appreciated more for choosing the hotel repeatedly. In the past, my experiences with the hotel were much better, especially with professional staff members such as Valeriia, who always paid close attention to booking details and guest follow-up with a high level of professionalism. This time, however, I was even stopped for more than 10 minutes at dinner because the booking information had not been updated correctly. I sincerely hope the hotel management reviews the level of customer service and the way returning guests are treated, because I always chose this hotel for its comfort and quality of service, and I hope it returns to the standard it was once known for. A busy week no doubt but expected better service from F&B outlets, took ages to order drinks, waiters paid no attention to guests and you literally had to grab their attention and order - very poor experience at this hotel and they need to increase their service standards !
