I paid close to AED 3500 for a 2-night stay at Movenpick Al Marjan Island. The room AC wasnt working to its best capacity. 1st day technician came and checked-said it is fine 2nd day when we complained again, it was repaired and proper cooling was restored. Hand faucet/bidet had low pressure. Technician said nothing could be done and no other room was vacant so that we could change. Thirdly, the restaurant area (The Market) where all meals are displayed- has a very unpleasant odour (resembling stale milk/dirty kitchen) For the amount we paid, experience could have been way better.

We stayed for 2 nights on the Ula Staycation package and had a fantastic time. The chalet accommodation was stunning. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Shout out to Emari on reception who was so warm and immediately made us feel very welcome. The only slight negative was the unchanging set menu for dinner on 2 consecutive nights as part of the package. The food itself was delicious, we would have just liked to sample a wider variety of what was on offer.

Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel was below the standard I expected. The check-in process was particularly disappointing, as there was a three-hour delay in providing the room, which caused significant inconvenience. The hotel was also extremely crowded, and the overall organization and management of the guests appeared inadequate. In addition, the design and layout of the swimming pools were poorly planned and lacked professionalism, which further affected the overall experience. Given the hotel’s expected level of service, I believe there is significant room for improvement, particularly in room readiness, guest management, and the design and organization of the recreational facilities. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the quality of service provided to guests.

I have paid for 2 days all inclusive stay, and it's a huge disappointment. what i experienced is an average room and hotel with minimum entertainment. the biggest disappointment was food and beverages for 1000 aed i was only provided low quality drinks and dictated food (lunch only in one place - set menu) keeping in mind the food quantity is very low and bad. with the famous sentence if you want better you can chose from A la Carte and pay for it very big disappointment and waste of money.

The staff, facilities and overall is excellent. What lets it down as a 5* movenpick is it’s all inclusive: drinks are poor (quality) and it’s boring to have the same buffet 3 x a day. Over all it was amazing, staff were super , clean and quiet, its really amazing There is a major issue with the breakfast. It is true that you have a designated area and separate plates for the pork section, but none of the guests are following this. They are all putting pork on the regular plates. I hope you will take this into consideration and instruct the guests to only use the designated plates. ​As for the breakfast itself, the standard needs to be better and the food should be more diverse.
