We had a wonderful stay at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah. The hotel is fantastic, but what made our experience truly memorable was the staff. They were consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. We would particularly like to recognise Hein and Shamma, who worked at the adults’ pool. Their service was exceptional throughout our stay. They were always friendly, attentive and eager to help, consistently doing everything they could to provide outstanding customer service. They made us feel genuinely valued and helped make our time by the pool a real highlight of our holiday. They are a real credit to the hotel, and their efforts deserve special recognition. One area that could perhaps be improved is the buffet restaurant. At peak times, it can become very busy and feels slightly too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel. This can make the dining experience feel a little hectic, and additional space would help guests enjoy their meals in greater comfort. That said, this was a relatively minor issue in what was otherwise a fantastic holiday. The quality of the hotel, the overall experience and, above all, the outstanding service provided by the team made our stay truly special. A special thank you to everyone at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah who went above and beyond to make our holiday so memorable. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would love to return in the future!

The resort is Instagram gorgeous, with beautiful rooms and impressive design. The service was generally excellent, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness really made our stay. However, the “ultra all inclusive” package didn’t quite live up to expectations. Additional charges for Hendrick’s gin, Red Bull and better wines felt disappointing. The included red wine was particularly poor, and finding it online for around £3.50 a bottle wasn’t what we expected from a five-star resort. After we mentioned the wine quality to Henir, the Hadaba lebeneat restaurant manager, while purchasing a bottle of wine more to our taste, he promised to pass our feedback to management, he then very kindly arranged for an Italian wine to be delivered to our suite the following day with a beautiful handwritten card, such a thoughtful, kind gesture. A wider choice of a la carte restaurants would also improve the dining experience, as the two available felt limited for a resort of this standard. The pool and beach areas often felt overcrowded, with no clearly identified adults-only section or clear rules. Our pool villa was lovely, but the private pool remained shaded throughout the day, so we never used it. This was a real disappointment given that it was a key feature of our booking. The pool and beach staff were wonderful, working tirelessly in the intense heat and humidity. Their uniforms often dripping wet with perspiration, yet always smiling. We would have loved to see a shaded, cooled area nearby where they could take a breather. Their efforts made our stay special. A small practical note for future guests: bring your own beach bag, the hotel does not provide a complimentary one. There is so much to love about this resort. Clearer information about the drinks package, better wine, more organised pool areas and greater attention to staff comfort would help the experience match the stunning surroundings. Comfort and staff friendliness

Sediey at the check in was great, and A. at the reception was the most helpful, when I kind of complained about not having benefits when booking a suite he offered me a late check out which was very convenient. Everyone at the restaurant was nice and helpful and of course the food was tasty. I initially thought that there will be no children ( Adults only +13) but I was surprised there were so many kids! It didn’t disturb me but just not what I expected. - If it weren't for A. extending my late check-out, I would have left upset and forgotten the pleasant check-in and the great food. Thank you, A.!

A wonderful resort, no complaints only high praise. We had a pool room which was private and gorgeous. Great food and high quality drinks. Fantastic caring and professional staff. It was fabulous and we will be back for sure. Highly recommend

Hello. I am copying a review I posted on TripAdvisor. That is why I am not including a title—so that the other site doesn't mistake me for a bot. ------- I spent one week at SO/Ras Al Khaimah, staying in a Collection Corner Suite with the Ultra All Inclusive package. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room was stylish and spacious. I would especially like to mention the housekeeping team and the minibar service - I had no complaints about either. The taxi desk also provided good service. Unfortunately, my overall impression of the service was significantly below what I expected from a hotel of this level. When I arrived, my room was not ready, which is completely understandable. I was invited to have lunch at the buffet while waiting. However, very little information was provided about the hotel or about the additional facilities and benefits included with my room category and Ultra All Inclusive package. Nobody explained where the gym or spa were, which areas were available to me, what restaurants were included, or what other services I could use. I eventually had to find much of this information myself, either online or through the QR code. Once my room was ready, I was simply given the key card and told to go upstairs. Nobody explained how the elevators worked or that the key card had to be tapped on the reader. Nothing was said about my luggage either. I eventually happened to meet a member of the luggage team in the corridor, and he brought my luggage to the room. Overall, my first impression was that I had to figure out for myself how the hotel worked and what services were available to me. The biggest issue throughout my stay was the level of service. At the beach, I repeatedly experienced very long waiting times for drinks. On one occasion, I waited for around 1.5 hours, then asked again about my order, and the drink arrived another 15 minutes later. Over the course of the week, approximately half of my drink orders at the beach were never delivered at all. On one occasion, even a simple glass/bottle of water took around 30 minutes. It was particularly surprising to see that other guests around me were being served normally. I also repeatedly received incomplete orders at the restaurants and cafés. For example, I ordered coffee and a dessert but received only the coffee. On another occasion, I ordered water and coffee but received only the water. At The Market, I experienced a similar situation several times: I could sit for around 20 minutes without a waiter approaching me. As a result, I would be left without water or another drink and simply had to wait until someone noticed me. I would also like to mention an incident involving the fire alarm. One day, the fire alarm was activated, and I asked the staff to send someone to check my room. Nobody came. For me, this was no longer simply a service issue, but a matter of safety. Another disappointment was the lack of attention to the guest throughout the stay. During the entire week, almost nobody asked how my stay was going or whether everything was satisfactory. At check-out, I simply returned my key card and was told goodbye. Nobody asked whether I needed a transfer or explained the available options. I only discovered some of the transfer services on my last day. At the same time, I noticed that some other guests received considerably more personal attention from the staff. For example, when I was leaving, I saw a member of the front desk personally escorting another guest towards the elevator and in the direction of their room. I do not want to speculate about the reason for this, as I do not know the circumstances, but compared with my own experience, the difference was noticeable. Regarding the room itself, the Collection Corner Suite was beautiful and comfortable. However, my room was located on the second floor, and a significant part of the view was occupied by the hotel's own structure. I would like to make an additional point regarding the view: my booking voucher did not state that the room had a partial sea view. Therefore, when I booked the Collection Corner Suite, my expectations regarding the view were different. Only later did I see that the hotel website describes this room category as having a partial sea view. In practice, a significant part of the view from my room was occupied by the hotel's own structure. I understand that the view may depend on the exact location of the room, so I do not want to claim that the hotel violated the terms of my booking. However, it was personally disappointing because the information in my booking voucher did not make it clear to me that the view would be like this. My main issue is therefore not the hotel itself, the room, or its facilities. It is the overall feeling created by the service. Throughout the stay, I repeatedly felt that I had to manage my own experience: find information myself, remind staff about orders several times, look for services on my own, and figure out how things worked. For a standard hotel, individual incidents like these might seem minor. However, from a hotel of this level, and especially from an Ultra All Inclusive resort, I expected a much more attentive and consistent level of service. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful property and good facilities, there were several moments during my stay when I actually felt like I wanted to leave and go home. For a holiday that was supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable, that was ultimately my biggest disappointment.

We had a wonderful stay at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah and truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the entire team. Special thanks to Mohab Ali from the Reservations Team for going the extra mile in arranging the birthday decoration in our room, including the lovely birthday cake. It made the celebration extra special and memorable. Also, thank you to Jade from Reception for the smooth and welcoming check-in process. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The buffet had a great variety and plenty of selections. One area for improvement would be the taste of some dishes, as a few could be enhanced. We also found the rib-eye and sirloin steaks to be quite tough, so improving the quality and tenderness of the meat would make the dining experience even better. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would be happy to return. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!

We were 13 people stayed in this hotel last weekend. He had an amazing time. All inclusive package is worth it. Staff are super accomodating. Drinks are well served and food was great! Highly recommended. Just an important note. Checkin is very strict. We had a little hicup on this part but the hotel manager was super helpful. Make sure EID is with you when checking in.

Overall, great stay. The rooms are clean and tidy. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive to guests needs. The hotel is beautiful and has great amenities throughout. Food and beverages are great also - zero complaints! Will be back soon.

Our stay was really memorable. Thanks to all staff who helped us sorting our problems at the reception specially Kesia(not sure if its correct,sorry) Mr. Zahir and the other tall guy. Thanks also to Mohammed of reservation and Abdulazis and to all the staff specially at the adult pool. We really enjoyed it. Will definitely comeback again. Over all stay was excellent and amazing.

Wonderful new resort, staff truly make this resort what it is, so friendly & helpful, every single staff member goes above and beyond to see that we had Everything we could possibly need, a special mention to Shamma & Hein at the adult pool who could not do more than they already do to make you feel welcome, always there to ask if they can get you anything. The guys on the beach constantly there to see to your needs in the heat, honestly I cannot fault this resort at all. Thank you So/Ras Al Khamiah for having us, we will be back for sure.

In my opinion, the hotel’s management is doing a poor job when it comes to service. The service was disappointing, especially at the buffet. We’ve stayed at other Accor hotels on several occasions, so we have a basis for comparison. The staff here seemed unmotivated to provide a good standard of service.
