We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There was a wide variety of delicious food every day, including meat, fish, seafood, and many other options. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and stylish. We also loved the lobby and the overall interior design of the hotel — everything was thoughtfully designed and had a modern, elegant atmosphere. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always did their best to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This was our second family stay at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, and once again we genuinely enjoyed our time there. We chose to return because we loved our first experience, and the warmth and personal attention from the team continue to make this hotel special for our family. A special thank you to Bukara, who came to see us several times during our stay and personally thanked us for returning. That recognition really made us feel valued as returning guests. Zaher was very helpful and attentive, and it was lovely to see Abdulaziz again as well. The F&B team were wonderful. Saroj recognized us and personally approached us, which was such a nice gesture. Bindia was incredibly sweet and attentive, and Hakan regularly checked on us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meals. A special mention also to Vishal from Housekeeping. Everything was very organized, and we really appreciated the additional amenities and thoughtful touches provided for us and the children. The Kids’ Club was another highlight. It was very well organized, with activities inside the club as well as around the pool. A very special mention to Maria from the Kids’ Club, who was wonderful with the children and is an amazingly talented artist. Her face painting was beautiful, and the children absolutely loved it. She definitely deserves recognition. We also really appreciated the bell team. The same gentleman who assisted us during our previous stay looked after us again, together with Mohammed this time. They were both extremely kind, genuine, trustworthy and helpful, and we felt very comfortable with the way they assisted us and handled our belongings. Overall, we had another lovely family stay. The food, atmosphere, activities and facilities are all enjoyable, but what really makes us want to return is the people. Being remembered and welcomed back by so many members of the team made the experience feel much more personal, and we truly appreciate everyone who made our stay special.

We had an amazing stay at SO/ Hotel over the weekend celebrating our 14th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and offered a fantastic view. We also loved the pleasant fragrance throughout the hotel, which added to the luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The buffet was exceptional, with a rich selection and a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Everything was fresh, well presented, and plentiful. We also dined at the Italian restaurant, Chiano. While the overall experience was pleasant, we felt the food was just average and could be improved, especially considering the expectations from a dedicated Italian restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend getaway, and we highly recommend SO/ Hotel for its excellent service, beautiful rooms, and great dining options. We look forward to visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah and were really impressed by the overall experience. The resort has a very high-end feel, with beautiful facilities, excellent food and a great selection of offerings throughout the property. What really stood out, however, was the team and the genuine level of care they showed us during our stay. When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready, but the reception team were very efficient and professional in handling everything, which made the arrival experience smooth despite the slight delay. The adult pool was one of the absolute highlights of our stay. Hari, who was in charge of both the adult pool and the Italian restaurant, was fantastic and clearly takes great pride in his team and the experience they provide. Shama and Kushal particularly stood out amongst all the staff. They were exceptionally attentive at the pool, constantly checking that we had enough drinks, water and food and making sure we had absolutely everything we wanted. It was the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely looked after rather than simply being served. The Italian restaurant was another highlight. Hari and his team provided a very high level of service — efficient, professional and attentive without being intrusive. They were also extremely considerate of our dietary requirements and made every effort to ensure we had suitable options. The food was excellent, and the overall experience felt very high-end. The all-day dining restaurant was equally impressive. Saroj and Burka were both very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was very good, with a great variety of offerings, and once again the team were very accommodating with our dietary requirements. Our room was very comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Everything was consistently clean, fresh and well maintained. The spa treatment was also fantastic. Sanjana and her colleague were excellent, particularly with the deep tissue massage. Both were extremely professional and really knew how to deliver a great treatment. It was one of those massages where you leave feeling like you have genuinely had a proper treatment rather than just a standard spa experience. Overall, SO/ Ras Al Khaimah offers a genuinely high-end experience, from the facilities and food to the quality of the service. But for us, it was the people who made the biggest difference. Hari, Shama, Kushal, Saroj, Burka, Sanjana and the wider team all contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. A big thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome and so well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Definitely a resort worth experiencing if you are looking for something stylish, high-end and with genuinely great service.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with several positive aspects, particularly the friendly staff, spacious rooms and excellent facilities for children. However, there are also a few areas that could be improved to make the all-inclusive experience better. The welcome was very good, and we appreciated the cold, refreshing towel upon arrival. However, no one explained the hotel’s facilities, restaurants, available outlets or what was included in the all-inclusive package. We had to discover everything ourselves, and a short introduction or hotel information guide would have been very helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory, although the buffet staff sometimes took quite a while to refill empty dishes. For lunch and dinner, the salad buffet was one of the highlights. It was large, fresh and offered a great variety of options. However, the main food selection was quite limited, with similar dishes being repeated for both lunch and dinner. Another area that needs improvement is the drinks selection. Most of the drinks are syrup- and sugar-based, and there are no fresh juices available. Offering fresh juices or better-quality alternatives would significantly improve the all-inclusive experience. The buffet food also needs better temperature control. Not all dishes were kept sufficiently hot, and on several occasions some food was already cold. Buffet dishes should be maintained at the appropriate serving temperature throughout the meal. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more enjoyable. The kids’ club and game room were excellent. Both were clean, well maintained and offered a great environment for children. We really enjoyed these facilities and found them to be one of the strongest points of the resort. The lobby lounge was pleasant and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fruit selection and coffee available there. The pool is quite small considering the size of the resort. When the hotel is busy and there are many guests, the pool feels overcrowded and does not provide enough space. Unfortunately, the beach was a major disappointment. It was not clean and, compared with other resorts we have stayed at, was one of the least impressive beaches we have experienced. The poolside restaurant could also improve the quality and recipes of its drinks. The current selection and taste could be upgraded to better match the standard expected from an all-inclusive resort.
