Food: A la carte was very good but the buffet was really not good. One day we prefered to skip it instead of eating there one more time. The kids club was very disappointed. We came specifically here because we wanted a good place for family but the kid's club was dirty, dark, small and the staff there.... not one smile! You hire russian speaking staff, they are definitely not the warmest towards young kids. Finally the playground was extremely small and not welk equipped and definitely not safe. And you have big cats everywhere, stealing food from the table and peeing on the playground swing and pooing in the sand of the beach where children were playing: disgusting!

I work long hours and appreciate a warm shower before bed. This was not the case, I had to shower in cold water. Whenever I sleep the room temperature must be 20° or lower. With the current bedding setup the room temperature of 22° is not suitable and I sweat a lot. The temperature can not be set lower and I can't sleep uncovered. My last 3 stays at Rixos has been very unpleasant, but I'm forced to stay there.

With regard to the room temperature, as part of our sustainability initiative, we currently maintain rooms at approximately 21.5°C during this season. That said, your comfort remains our priority, and we can absolutely make adjustments or provide suitable alternatives to better meet your needs. Please rest assured that we will personally review your preferences and ensure that for your next stay, the room setup is prepared in a way that allows you to rest comfortably. Stayed here with my wife during the Eid break. Net-net, solid experience with a few operational gaps that need fixing. On the upside, the Ultra All-Inclusive package delivers real value. Food variety is strong, and most dishes are actually flavorful, with some filler buffet options. The Friday BBQ station was a standout, easily one of the highlights of the stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and a decent size, no complaints there. The gym is spacious and nicely equipped, which is rare for resort hotels. Didn’t get a chance to try the spa, but the property overall is well-loaded—multiple pools, plenty of facilities, and very family-friendly. Evenings were also well executed—live performances on stage every night, which added good energy to the experience. Now the gaps: Extension handling was a mess. Wanted to extend one night, simple ask. Instead, spent ~15 minutes at reception being told I had to book two nights. That’s not just inflexible, it’s poor customer handling. On top of that, the final price given was clearly inflated to push me away. Result: I checked out. That entire interaction was unprofessional and unnecessary. Water pressure in the room was weak, needs fixing. Hygiene inconsistency at restaurants, noticed food stains on some plates and cutlery more than once. That shouldn’t happen at this level. Bottom line: The hotel itself is strong, good facilities, good food, helpful restaurant staff, and an overall enjoyable stay. But the front desk experience around the extension request left a bad final impression, which is unfortunate because it’s the last touchpoint. Would still recommend, but management needs to tighten operations, especially on guest handling and hygiene standards.
