Fantastic stay in a room overlooking the Lot river. Very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The shower was a little broken but the bath worked well. Breakfast was probably not worth the money, the hot food was not replenished often, and there were a few dirty tables as we arrived with no one clearing them. Overall I would recommend staying!

Lovely room, very large, well furnished and quiet. The fact it was overlooking the river was a bonus. Breakfast was good so was the evening meal. Housekeeping did an excellent job of both cleaning and timing for when we were out of our room.

The hotel looked empty when we checked in. The checking counter was a desk in front of the bar and the front office lady, which seemed to be the only employee working at the hotel, checked us in and was helpful. We had selected the highest category, a fairly large room, but the decoration was outdated and a bit depressing. When we went back to have our complementary drinks, I was that the drink was only for one of us, which is not what I experienced at other Accor properties, but the evening front office person was inflexible and did not seem aware of the way to deal with frequent guests in the days of social media and surveys. What I learned in my many years of travel and very large number of hotel nights is that you try not let a guest unsatisfied or frustrated if his request is reasonable. After several lecturing on the policy and how the hotel was strictly applying it, he stated twice that he could serve us the 2nd glass and billing us for it. I chose not to have the complimentary drink. It turns out that he was wrong in his interpretation of the complimentary drink policy. That front office associate saved the hotel around 1 euro at cost with the drink he refuses and another one with the drink I decided not to have. I will let others decide if it was a smart hospitality industry move. Some observations in the room: - the door of the toilet had been removed! - there was no cream (even in powder) or milk for the in-room coffee. - the was no small complimentary amenity, like a few cookies or chocolates, that guests with a status find they enter the room. - no amenity at all in the bathroom. Upon check-out, I was told that they are only available upon request. - the shower gel/ shampoo bottle was almost empty and not enough for our showers. - after walking shortly in the room without slippers, my feet were all dusty as the floor had not been cleaned property. This hotel appears to have an extremely stingy management or/and ownership - you cannot miss it and, overall, this hotel feels more like a 2 star than a 4 star.
