Booked this hotel for 3 nights as attending a wedding in the area. Found all the staff to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Easy parking. The room was excellent - large, spacious and clean with a/c - overlooking the River Lot with a Terrace. Enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast each morning which was excellent. The hotel was very quiet and lacking in atmosphere which was surprising but we actually didn't mind this. Location is a bit of a walk (30 minutes) out of town and there aren't any restaurants locally. This was not a problem for us but on Bastille Day the restaurant was not open in the evening which we had not been told at check-in. The negatives:- Our room was not serviced at all during the 3 nights we were there which was surprising and the paper cups for hot drinks was disappointing for a hotel of this quality. Fortunately we had brought our own cups with us having read the reviews.

A pity about the restaurant but the hotel was as enjoyable as in the past other than this. A fantastic location with very helpful staff.
