I often choose to stay in an Ibis Budget as I always find they are clean with a comfortable bed - this one didn't disappoint! We arrived early and the super helpful receptionist ensured we were able to get into our room as early as possible. If I had to be picky, I would say the toilet cistern kept refilling every coupe of minutes or so, continuously which was annoying and parts of the hotel (mainly the corridors, parts of the rooms) looked a bit tired, but it wouldn't stop me staying there again!

lovely stay...staff great...breakfast great...I had no transport but I am fit to walk and there were some good restaurants near the hotel....enjoyed my time in the auld toun with a glass of red

We stayed for 2 nights, it would have been a nice 45 minute walk to the centre but it rained so had a 5 minute drive instead. Nice hotel, had the basic breakfast which was sufficient, but there was plenty of choice. Room fine, and plenty of shops and restaurants in the surrounding area.
