As always, check-in was very slow.
The courtesy bus driver only got out of the bus to help with baggage when asked, and he was very reluctant to do so. In the past the bus drivers have been very helpful.
The room itself was very nice and appeared to have been refreshed and updated which was a lovely surprise.

We stay at this property very regularly, at least 30 nights a year. Very convenient location to the airport, a variety of rooms to choose from, and one of the best pools in Darwin. Unfortunately the reception staff can either elevate your stay, or make you feel like you are just a number waiting for their hot chips at the takeaway counter. This experience was unfortunately the latter. No eye contact, no recognition, just…. bland. Here is your key, here is your map. Check-in was not even busy. Room was in one of the prison blocks and even though we had a 1pm check out pre-arranged we opted to leave early. The staff member who checked us out fortunately was really kind and stored our luggage for us until our flight. We will be back soon, and hopefully not be treated so coldly.

I liked the updated rooms and they were lovely. The outdoor furniture was terrible though. Why wouldn't you replace it? The facilities were lovely and I enjoyed the pool area, nice resort feel.

My room was a lot smaller than I expected, and someone had been smoking in the room so I had to change to another room. I also had to carry luggage upstairs. I expected that such a large hotel would have BBQ facilities

I had an excellent stay at Mercure Darwin Airport Resort and was extremely satisfied with the overall experience.
The location was very convenient, especially for business travel and operations around Darwin Airport and the surrounding areas. The hotel was comfortable, well maintained, and provided everything I needed for a longer stay.
The staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout my stay. I particularly appreciated their responsiveness and willingness to assist whenever I needed support. After a long and demanding day, it was always good to return to a comfortable and welcoming environment.
The room was comfortable and suitable for an extended business stay, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was pleasant and relaxing. The facilities were also convenient and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, Mercure Darwin Airport Resort provided a very positive experience, and I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Darwin.
