Just received your email (via Hotels.com) regarding the pool closure & renovations (including noise warning). With all due respect, we would have never made this booking if we were provided this information upfront and considering the pool is a listed featured for the stay and in ALL of your imagery I would like to request a full refund. How could you do this to people? I'm done with the Mantra brand after this shady interaction.

I chose to stay at the Mantra because I had stayed here on a previous visit to Darwin in 2008. So this was a trip down memory lane and I was prepared to pay extra for the experience. When paying top dollar for accommodation I expect top level accommodation and service. Unfortunately I was very unimpressed and would not bother next time.
