The bathroom fills with water when having a shower. I reported this twice and had no feedback with the complaint just being closed. Clearly they don’t care about addressing issues.

Please accept my sincere apologies that your maintenance concern was not addressed, despite reporting it twice. This is certainly not reflective of the service standards we strive to uphold, and I fully understand how frustrating it must have been to have the issue closed without communication or resolution. I have personally raised this with both our Maintenance and Front Office teams to ensure immediate action is taken and to prevent similar oversights moving forward. Your comments regarding the bathroom flooding are concerning, and we will be inspecting the room thoroughly to rectify the drainage problem. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as this type of feedback allows us to improve the experience for all guests. I also acknowledge your concerns regarding Wi-Fi connection speed and overall service. We will be reviewing these areas internally to enhance the consistency and responsiveness of our team. Property is clean and well located. The keycard exit from the carpark did not work on most occasions (entry card reader was fine). I would be ggod if points were applied on check out.

The hotel is centrally located and a short walk from most of Darwin's downtown restaurants, convenience stores and social gatherings. Entry to the hotel parking is off a one-way street which can be easily missed, but once located, is simple enough to navigate to. There is plenty of space for parking with an associated nightly fee. There are 3 multi-door (two directional) elevators allowing access to the lobby and respective guest levels. Be sure to use the correct button set or the door you exit, particularly at the lobby level, or it could place you in the service area. Front desk is small but readily attended 24 hours. The hotel lobby area is underwhelming in decor and technology but pleasant and clean with an outback feel. The staff uniforms are casual rural attire giving a farmstead motif. They are multi-lingual and helpful for late night arrivals (as was my case) informing of local convenience stores and open restaurants. In general, they were friendly but, in my experience, there was certain level of patronization by a young lady at the front desk when I asked for a receipt to show the 'room deposit' (AUD$200 at check in) had been cleared upon check out. This receipt is common process at international hotels with which she seemed unfamiliar. The room was simple enough, small with basic furnishing although somewhat aged. The bathroom was clean but sparse in complimentary toiletries (communal pump bottles of shampoo and body wash is 3-star at best) and no shower door allowed for a water-soaked floor. Towels were minimal (1 person only) and rough from overuse. The television was connected with 'Foxtel' service, but the channel selections were at the cheapest option. There was however an option to 'Cast' allowing streaming from your own device. The bed was a crushed mattress that let you feel every broken spring inside and the slats underneath. It was very evident that 2 singles had been pushed together. Housekeeping was non-existent in my case (the room wasn't made up) but I guessed this was due to a weekend stay. In general, it was an adequate hotel for a short business stay (2-nights), and average in comparison to other hotels in the area. 3.5 Stars in my opinion.
