I have stayed at the Mantra Pananas Darwin several times. I enjoy the location and the swimming pool particularly.

Nice big room, but I got what I booked, that's all. No recognition of Accor Platinum status during at check-in or during the stay. No welcome letter, no welcome gift. Couldn't utilise the welcome drink because the restaurant isn't open in the evenings. Accor points and nights not credited to my ALL account. Room was fine but one of the few on my floor without a balcony. Accor membership is a two way street - I give you all my business to achieve a certain level of status, and you give me those little acknowledgements and benefits of said status. I have colleagues pushing me to stay at the Hilton Doubletree, but I decided to go with an Accor property based on my status. I shouldn't have bothered.

This place is very dated with not great service The gym equipment needs servicing . No towels or TV / radio gym. The restaurant had very slow service and breakfast disappointing I stayed 5 nights and there was zero servicing of my room, no bathroom clean , no replacement of towels . There is zero provision of toiletries aside from shampoo and soap , no shower cap etc Very bad smell is hallways . Overall extremely basic and not well kept up

Room was very damp and smelt slightly of mold.
