Mix up in my reservation and charged twice

Worst experience coming here, I had a reservation booked the night before arriving on the 21/9 and they had took $281.39 and after arriving it took about 2 hours for the receptionist to find the booking. After not being able to find it he put me in a room cos I had a flight to catch 3 hours later and just need some rest. Then a couple of days later I was charged again $268 for that room!!! SOOO ANGRY COS IT WASNT MY FAULT and then being double charged. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! However, the reception was nice and handled it so well but other than that never staying here again.

As a silver Accor member none of the perks were mentioned/used. When I questioned it I was told that it was only for gold members which isn’t true. The room we stayed in was near door which staff would use to enter and exit the floor, as a result they were consistently being slammed making it difficult to sleep.

Very old room and not clean

Room was not very clean, curtains had stains on them and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The room also smelt.

We had a HCP dinner meeting at the hotel and we were extremely happy with the service and the event. I would hold future meetings at the hotel.

Good location, friendly staff. Received surprise cake when I just walked into my room. It was yummy thank you. I was also given drink vouchers but not able to use it because the bar shut at 8.30pm and no room service. I'm aware that Darwin is a small town but when you have friends fly in at 1am I'd love the options to get late night snacks and cold bevvies in the room with my friends. I returned drink vouchers when I checked out and unfortunately the receptionist didn't ask why the vouchers were returned and just bid us farewell after stamping our parking tickets. Had this happen at IHG hotels, they will always ask why it was returned and give the options of grabbing takeaway coffee from the restaurant or water/softdrinks/juice of my choice before we leave the frontdesk.
