It was okay. We were unaware there was significant renovations happening at the property. Meaning more limited dining options which was okay. But the kids splash area wasnt working properly-really dissaointing with two young kids.

We felt comfortable taking the short stroll from the airport to the hotel. Well lit paths easy enough to navigate with luggage. Although our room was simple, it was clean and had all we needed. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the pool areas absolutely beautiful.

I booked thru booking.Com and a balcony was shown in the ad. Your staff refused to move me. I would not have booked without a balcony. I purchased a chicken Caesar salad and was horrified to find the meat was not real chicken. I have taken photos to pass on health inspectors. The meal was inedible as it was drowned in dressing.

For the price we paid, our room was quite tired and bland. It wasn't really a special stay, rather a large motel room. Furniture is scuffed as is paint. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Ultimately it felt like poor value for money sorry.

We had a wonderful stay at the Novotel. Rooms are great, breakfast in the morning had a great variety. But the pool and all the amenities surrounding were fantastic. The kids loved them and so did we. Perfect spot to spend all day down the pool and only 2 min walk to the airport

My first experience with Novotel airport hotel is to find the hotel entrance. After took me a while to found it. The staff told me I can park over the airport parking lot which located opposite the hotel for $15 and the hotel will validate the ticket otherwise I can park in the resort area for $20 per day. The thing is if I choose to park at the airport parking lot which will be a walk back to the hotel and it is not convenient at night and hot day.

This was the worst Novotel we have stayed in. The room was drab and needed renovating. We had pizza for dinner and only ate half of it. The breakfast was awful and the staff were not replenishing items. We stayed in the Novotel at Mascot two nights later and it was 100% better.

Curtains hanging off track. Stain on curtains. Fridge no cold water for guests on arrival. Rusted wall lights. Fridge wooden in casement damaged wood. No vacuuming done close to skirtens on carpet. I own and run luxury apartments in Mission Beach FNQ and sit on 9.9 for 9 years running and also rated extremely high with 8 other sites around the globe. This place is so dirty, worn out rooms. Was extremely disappointed.

My 7yr old daughter and I had a 23 hour stop over at Darwin airport. Good: The check in was great, the food is good, the pool is amazing. The staff were lovely too. Bad: The cocktail I ordered wasn't available, and the airport noise was considerable with helicopters going until 9pm and supersonic airforce jets taking off all of the following day.
