I needed to ask reception for coffee and toilet paper, I was not aware that the apartment was not a servicex apartment. We had a 2am fire evacuation ' no instructions on how to evacuated eg don't use the lift. The safety gate to the pool jammed & I was stuck in the pool area, no emergency phone to office so I could ask for assistance- I had to rely on a person entering the building.

To say I was I was dissapointed was an understatement. From the moment we got to the hotel, it was underwhelming. There is absolutley no atmosphere in the reception area. We went to the check in desk and there was stuff everywhere behind the counter it was terrible. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice however the computer system wasn't working, it took us ages to check in. We then got told that there was no restaurant or bar (I should have done my homework on this) and we would get a welcome drink delivered to our room. This happened 2 hours after we arrived - the gentleman that delivered the drinks however was very nice. Once I opened the door to the room it was like I had stepped back in to the 90's. There was a blue chair in the room that had dirty marks all over it, the bed spreads were frayed and had marks on them, honestly it was not a great look at all. The room was clean but it did not have a great feel to it, we also thought we would have had a balcony room. I don't usually complain however I was so looking forward to a lovely night away. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

The towels appeared to be not nice and freshly cleaned. Would have liked more than 2 towels for the week, especially with long hair, you need more.
