Was disappointed as bathroom floor and shower floor were sticky,My feet left black marks on the small towels when I stepped out of the shower

We chose to book a more expensive, larger room as the advertised photos on the website looked lovely. When arriving we were directed to a demountables in the car park which backed onto a drain. On opening the door the smell of mould was overwhelming. We asked to me moved and were accomodated but once again the room did not look like the advertised photos. The lounge was filthy but as we were tired for our flight we never bothered to complain again. Dinner at the Novotel’s Loong Fong was also very disappointing. We certainly will not be staying at a Mercure or Novotel again as their standards have certainly dropped!

Pathetic. The bathroom smelt like vomit and the reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. The remote didn't work and due to being isolated when asking for bowls they didn't arrive. When ordering food and drink, your staff included and charged me for a xxxx gold beer when not ordered. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful and we were put in a room on level one when we had lots of luggage and when ask to move to a downstairs room, we were told none was available. However, we noted the room below us were empty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future and we fly and stay in Darwin allot. Disappointed this used to be a good hotel and place to stay.

My Party of 3 were Evicted from Melville Island with 1 hours notice. The Tiwi Islands Adventure management booked us into the Mercure for 2 nights. The Breakfast and dinner Room service were much appreciated in the context of the COVID-19 limitations. Front desk staff were most helpful. We were glad to have a room for each one of us which was very clean and well appointed.

We were held in isolation as we had just returned from Indonesia. Despite our request we received no bistro menu and no breakfast menu. We did order from the Grabit and Go menu due to not being provided with a bistro menu. We paid for breaKfast but we did not receive a breakfast menu or any assistance in the regard.

I travelled to the Top End for a short visit to watch my nephew play in the Tiwi Islands' football grand final. Unfortunately, due to health concerns over COVID-19, visitors were banned from visiting the Island. Despite this disappointment, I had a great time in Darwin and a big reason for this was choosing to stay at Mercure Darwin Airport Resort. The pool, the tropical-gardens layout, the rooms, the bistro, the friendly-service ... and did I mention the pool!? And I got to watch the grand final live-stream in my room over the hotel WiFi. Thanks, Mercure, for helping to make my trip a memorable and enjoyable one.

Stayed 8 days. The two room cabin was ok though simply and sparsely furnished. The bed was nice and the air on was much appreciated. The staff at the restaurant was helpful and pleasant as was the front desk staff. It was nice to have washers and dryers nearby. The breakfast bouquet mad plain and the other food choices for lunch and dinner were ok but not special. The hotel in general was convenient to the airport but not near anything else. Greatful the Uber was always close by.
