It was our first family weekend together since they've moved from VIC after quarantine and was really looking forward to it. Rooms were okay although was hoping there'd be some disposable toothbrush and toothpastes in the bathroom along with other toiletries. No complimentary bottled water in the fridge too but not sure what standard is being followed. Beds were comfly. We chose a resort themed hotel so kids would enjoy swimming. However we didn't swim for very long in the pool as it was a bit uncleaned/ dirty and we started feeling itchy. :( The food was good and had generous servings and cashier was friendly. thanks.

It was wonderful to be able to have your pet with you, overlooking the pool area. Very clean even though it’s a pet friendly bungalow and our dog really loved the toy given to her. Can’t wait to stay again, thanks

I have been travelling throughout the covid times and always stay at the mercure. I have always found the service and staff to be helpful and efficient. Only once was I unhappy with my room being next to the linen room in 3 block but will ensure that does not happen again. I am especially happy with the facilities provided during covid when is was not practicle to go to town or anything

Good to return after a couple of years break from Darwin as a business destination. This hotel has changed dramatically during that time and I had a very positive experience. Swift polite, efficient check in, room was well prepared and presented by Housekeeping (Thankyou, I know how hard you work), and whoever cooked my breakfast in the morning created a magnificent dish, truly a great artisan you have there, my thanks and appreciation of your skills to the Chef. Disappointed with your beer range and only Pizza available for Dinner, so skipped that, but these are hard times and understandable.

It was advertised that I would have a private carpark as part of the booking yet there were no carparks available anywhere near my room, I believe they were taken by members of the public using the swimming pool and bar facilities. The furniture in the room was stained and looked as if it were well overdue for replacement and the room didn't appear to have been very well cleaned, there was some kind of grease type marks all over the kitchen cupboards, there was a lip print on the shower screen, there was needle and thread on the carpet in the bedroom and the carpet generally looked like it needed to be vacuumed. Nil complaints about the customer service, check in went fine. Was also very quiet overnight. Unfortunately I will not be staying again or recommending the hotel due to the state of the room.

Staff are wonderful, service is excellent, shuttle is really convenient, but oh dear, the Mercure is awful. Definitely choose the sister hotel, the Novotel next door. Mercure has motel style rooms with dodgy front doors that SLAM shut and don't close properly and on the other side have glass sliding doors out onto the street with a flimsy flip lock. I didn't feel safe, and the slamming of hotel room doors (which is nearly impossible to prevent) continued at all hours of the night and early morning. I don't recommend and will do everything I can to avoid it in future. Accor need to overhaul this dump. But retain your excellent staff.

My room was noisy all night from the noise of the airport I paid extra to stay in a room with a balcony and didn't sleep Then in the morning around 8am the cleaners dragged what looked like a heavy vacuum up the stairs I thought someone had fallen it woke me up with a fright I never got back to sleep the personal at the desk gave me my breakfast for free the only reason I gave you a 3 If we were not told by work that we have to stay there I would stay at a quieter hotel

I have placed comments on your profile so next time you stay we will do our utmost to allocate a quieter room for you. Although I do understand you prefer rooms with balconies and is willing to pay the price, the Territory rooms that goes for the discounted rate are our best sound-proof rooms we have. They have a better newer isolation and are separate from the rest of the resort. I will pass on your feedback regarding the cleaners making noise up the stairs with the vacumm also, hopefully our housekeeping manager can mitigate the occurences of these. Restaurant had no prawns, no chia, no cereal Fighting at night to early hours of the morning meant lack of sleep.

Dear Brett, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Mercure Darwin Airport Resort. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not the greatest and that you encountered such issues throughout your 2x nights stay. The fighting and arguing that occured that night was a very distressing occurence for guests and staff members alike. Our Duty Managers do not hesitate in contacting the police/AFP when situations such as those arise, I do apologise it took some time until the incident was solved that day. As per the menu options I will bring that to our chef's attention. Our a-la-carte breakfast has been released not long ago because of COVID's restrictions on buffets and the new lunch/dinner menu should be coming out soon so it will be the proper time to bring the prawns and cereal options back in. As we value your feedback and satisfaction I have refunded $100 back to your card (MC ending in 7826) as I trust this can be accepted as a token of our apology to a stay where we just didn't meet your expectations. The stay was't as comfy where i stayed in room 155.

Had issues with the aircon & fridge until I went and had chat to front reception, who then said they were will someone to go in and take a look. I was present when the handyman came around into the room @ 155. Handyman got the aircon flowing back in coolness & then he's had a look at the small bar fridge, I told him the fridge was warmish and wasn't cold /cool, I asked if i please have another fridge. The handyman decided to turn the switch inside the fridge and said see how that go's and if not getting cool/cold he'd was going to get another replacement fridge. Sorry but that didn't happen. When I went into bar fridge my small amount off food was went off and I had to toss into a plastic bag into the rubbish bin. As me & the team departure the Mercure Darin Airport Resort, I handed in the room 155 keys back to front reception and I spoken to the gentleman telling him about room 155. the gentleman apologized and as for the apogee I accepted. Apart from room155 the stay was fabulous, great food and great people reconnection and very polite. Big thumbs up around all

I booked the day prior to arrival. I was offered a variety of room options based on my previous bookings. I was provided with complimentary late checkout till 12pm, and the transport car was happy to take me from the airport, despite not having pre-booked a vehicle. The receptionist was happy to exchange cash for me so that I could give someone change, and the free newspaper was a nice touch. I had a drink by the pool, no meal required. It was a nice way to unwind after travelling. Breakfast was a modern take on bruschetta, and the tea was complimentary. Thank you,
