The Mercure is beautiful and I stay there every time I am flying somewhere, but recently was terrible. I got a soa room for my little one so he could have a bath before we flew out if Darwin. There was no hot water in my room. I waited 4 hours before they actually decided to changed my room and this was 30 minutes before I had to leave for the airport which meant I was in an extreme rush to get out of there.

We have stayed here previously and time and use has taken its toll on the facility the pool area is failing apart but it is still usable and is still a nice place to relax swim and have a drink around. the rooms were dated but very clean and the grounds were also clean hot water was slow to come through in the shower and we had a leak from the base of the toilet the water would also go down in the bowl ind a leak present but over all still a nice place to stay.

We use this hotel every year. The first thing we were told is that we can’t park next to the room unless we pay, we were not told this when booking. The room was more expensive yet the fridge was very small the TV was very small. Not the same as previous years, this was our preferred hotel, maybe not anymore.

Unfortunate room allocation but pleasant staff /nice people. Whereas, I had a much better room for my second stay on 5 Sept I have had to write to you about unauthorised use of my credit card (see email sent 7 Sept).
