Overall the stay was good, the feedback that I would give you, are the state of the towels, both myself and husband (I own my own travel business) and another couple (clients of mine) were absolutely appauled at the state of the towels in our rooms, they were stained, grey in colour and very very worn out. It is a shame that the rest of the hotel, and the room was all in great order but the thought of drying off with towels in this condition really left a poor experience for all of us. We did come down and get fresh towels and they were better but still not what you would expect from a hotel of your rating. Very disappointing

Good location, comfortable beds, breakfast area employees very friendly and professional, nice breakfast selection and quality. Unfortunately, while I know the air conditioning was under some stress due to high temperatures during part of our stay, Room 1315 was simply too warm for our comfort [I had two other rooms under my name, and both were noticeably cooler]. We requested a fan--the first of which did not work--and even with it the room was warm. As a result, I don't believe I'd return to the Mercure during warmer months but would certainly keep it in mind for other seasons.

The hotel was very nice, a good location and an amazing view from the room. I enjoyed the breakfasts and thought the robots were very cool. Everything was satisfactory! One small thing I would like to see improved, is the TVs seemed to have motion smoothing on, and it wasn’t clear on how I could turn this off. Otherwise, I have no complaints, and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Adjacent to the Station and fitted out to a high stnadard with goofd size roomns. I has 2 (!) Medical emergencies and the staff could not have been more helpful

Stayed a couple of nights and found the staff welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was fine with very large selection for all tastes although once or twice things were not replenished very quickly

The hotel is very nice and seems to have been recently renovated- I understand the hotel is in the centre of Bochum but my only disappointment is we travelled with a dog cost extra £35 and then parking for 10 hours 23 euros don’t think that is justified

I have 4 things that make a good hotel experience for me: 1. good breakfast 2. A/C in summer 3. good water pressure 4. the ability to darken the room properly All boxes were ticked. The hotel is nice, the location is very central so it's easy to get everywhere. I can recommend it!

The room temperature was too hot. It was a very hot outside but had the feeling the clima was not properly functioning. Also the window in the corridor were open which heated up the floor quite significantly.
