My wife and I booked a weekend trip to Dortmund, and we chose this hotel because of its central location. I specifically booked a more expensive room to make our stay more comfortable. Unfortunately, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working, and the room became extremely hot, which made it very difficult for us to sleep. This was very disappointing, especially considering the price we paid for the room. We also discussed the issue with the hotel staff, and they informed us that the technician would only be available on Monday the same day we were due to leave. Although they provided us with a fan, the room still remained uncomfortably hot, and we were not able to properly enjoy our stay because of the heat.

Mercure Hotel Dortmund City is a great choice for a city break. The hotel is located right in the center of Dortmund, close to the main train station and public transport, making it easy to reach the city’s attractions as well as Signal Iduna Park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Despite the central location, the hotel offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. A perfect place for travelers who value comfort and convenience.

Nice hotel with proper facilities and staff. The single room was okay but showering in a bathtub is not a safe situation anymore. Skip the bath if there no room for a bath and a shower. The bathroom is a little outdated. I don't know what you use for mopping the floors but it leaves a film behind that makes a little slippery when I was walking on my trainers. 25 euro's a day for parking outside is to much to slow Nice breakfast but the only thing missing was some juice
