The hotel is great, and all staff that we had any contact with were fantastic. We have no actual complaints - we were comfortable and it certainly served its purpose perfectly for our weekend. We have stayed at your property many times before, and we will happily stay again. As I do have the opportunity to provide feedback however, I would just like to highlight the difference in acknowledgement of loyalty when compared to any other Accor Properties. As a long-standing platinum member who spends 60-80 nights per year in multiple ALL branded hotels around Asia pacific - aside from complimentary platinum breakfast - there really is no other incentive for me to choose your hotel over others. If I use the welcome amenity that has replaced the drink vouchers for example - As I understand, your hotel has chosen to implement a blanket rule for ALL members (being the half bottle of wine, small packet of chips and two bottles of water). Your most loyal members are not getting anything different. You did provide a welcome amenity in the room - however the difference is that it appears to be given to everyone (as per the sheet of paper we read on the desk at check in) - it's not just for those with elite status levels. Other hotels seem to provide these welcome notes and gifts (to those who have earned them) as well as a drink voucher per person. which is what someone without elite status in the paid Accor plus program would expect. Now the drink vouchers aren't particularly important to us, BUT to then get in the lift and see a sign stuck to the wall of the lift - inviting someone to join (for free) and get a drink voucher - it's is a bit of a kick in the teeth to those who actually spend the most money in your hotel group as we are not entitled to the same. Other Platinum benefits such as room upgrade could have been offered (I know it was available as my mother thought about coming to stay for the weekend and when she looked at the same dates in the app the night before - the higher room category was available for her to book). Like I said, we will happily stay again even without the extra benefits - because we enjoy staying there - but just some feedback for consideration your hotel is lacking in effectively recognising your most loyal customers. I chose to stay at your hotel because it is Accor, however I'm not going to return to your hotel because its Accor - I'm only going to return because you did everything else right - there is real potential here that others with high status would look elsewhere for a return trip.

Rooms were bright and clean. Bathroom basin would have been more useful with a cupboard not just the basin top. Not happy to find we could not open a windows for fresh air. Air conditioner at night kept cutting in and out. We had dinner in the Buttery Factory restaurant which was delicious and great service.
