I spent a miserable 3 nights stay with them. Why miserable?? Because it is too short. I expect to do a second run by staying about 5 more nights with them. I checked in around 9.30 pm and was surprised to have about 15 of them waiting and did an unforgettable welcoming ceremony. Initially the atmosphere was tense for me and at the same time, happy. As a Diamond member, I have stayed in various different properties from Luxury to mid-scale. but this is extraordinaire. The whole team was led by GXM Indrah. I can see the whole team wearing wide smile and can see their sincerity of welcoming me to their pride property. After all the handshakes and head bowings, I was escorted straight to my wonderful Suite Room. Pak Indrah and Bu Dyta was handling the checking in process. We had about 45 minutes of good chatting in the room as if we are the long lost friends in our alumnus. Had a good nice rest and went down for breakfast at about 8 am. Met up with GM Gito, OM Wahyu and RDM Yogi. Very happy to be served by Restaurant Manager Fauzan and also Executive Chef Bardy Good breakfasts spread and the whole team performed with their proud Indonesian hospitality and great smiles. On my first day, Pak Indrah and Bu Dyta brought me going around town and visited historical Tugu Hotel but nothing compare to Grand Mercure obviously. We had a good lunch and more importantly very good chat and sharing. Since it was drizzling we went back to our Home away from Home. The next day, BU Dyta and a driver brought me to a place which is an ancient narrow lane that sell plenty of some sort of antique items., we walk through and ended up at some old ice cream parlor and have some quenching aids. I enjoyed some good archery and playing with the air gun just a few shots. To conclude, I must formally declare that this is my best property as compare to about 70 properties worldwide. Pak Indrah, Ibu Dyta played a big part of my well being as Pak Fauzan and Ex Chef Bardy handled my culinary adventure. People like Pak Noel, Pak Yogi and Pak Wahyu played a chatty part on my understand of the overall operation. Obviously having a long talk with the Big Boss GM Gito and he enlightened my knowledge of his vision and mission as a cluster General Manager. It has indirectly entice me also experience his other outlet Mercure Surabaya plus honored that Pak Irwan visited me in Movenpick with his team. Keep up the good work and always believe that your teams are above all with warm loving Indonesian Hospitality. See you guys again on Feb 2026. .

had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the corridor always smelled nice which made the environment feel fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back.
