It was a pleasant stay at Ibis Styles Malang for 5D4N, the hotel location is near from anywhere, the room itself is comfortable and the staff service are amazing, quick check in and check out, Breakfast was great too, there are a lot of options and variety at the buffet and of course it has a good taste. Keep up the good work!

Unpleasant Stay

I booked the room hotel via website, deluxe room, with no information that the room is smooking room. Staff informed me thru WA, that their deluxe room is smooking room. I am little bit surprise and disappointed. But i try to still calm, and request them to did deeply cleansing as i stayed with kids. Once i came to the hotel, enter the room, the room is feel so hot, i told to the receptionist, and she said to me to wait about 15 mins. But after 15 mins, the room was still hot, seems the AC was broken. Then my husband request to move to another room. And surprisingly me, that the new room with same type, but its not smooking room!! Then why, she told me that the deluxe room is smooking room at the first?? While there’s non smooking room actually ?!?! So i feel very disappointed, sorry. That was my second stay, the first stay i have no issue. But on the second stay i feel very very dissappointed.

The experience you describe in your comment causes us deep concern. I would like to offer our sincere apologies for any frustration that it may have caused you on your arrival. We provide a limited number of Deluxe rooms, with only two of them being non-smoking. On the day of your arrival, the hotel was running a very high occupancy which caused non-smoking rooms not available due to late check out requests until 15.00. Therefore the Deluxe Non Smoking can be use after 15.00. I can reiterate our regret that we did not handle the situation in proper manner. Kindly rest assure that appropriate training will be conducted to avoid the recurrence of such incident in the future. I do appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention and therefore giving us an opportunity to improve.
