We arrived at 15:00, the check in process takes 5 mins, then the front desk said she will check for the room and ask us to wait and have a welcome drink. After 10 mins, no one approach us. I go to the same staff and check if my room is ready, she look puzzled and ask my name. That means she did nothing after asking me to wait.

No towels on the pool side in the evening. Asked pool guard he said - hotel all towel finish. no towel… My 5 years son was all wet. After requesting some one else got towel after 25 mins. Asked for towel in room, it took them more than 30 mins to deliver the same. The staff was not supportive at all and did not understand basic English as well. The property was truly amazing but staff needs good training. I faced major issues with it.

Novotel Phu Quoc located right by the ocean, had an amazing vibe and a beautiful property. It has multiple pools, and the infinity pool right by the ocean had the best view. The breakfast had vegetarian options as well and there is an Indian section in their restaurant menu (few veg options only). The kids area and the pickleball and tennis court make it even more kid-friendly property Overall, we had a great time!

Our stay at Novotel was a memorable one. Pros: 1. Well appointed luxurious rooms, with almost all amenities that you can think of. 2. Very helpful and attentive service staff, who respond to all requests with great kindness. 3. Breakfast was delicious, with an excellent spread catering to nearly all dietary requirements. 4. Located bang opposite the Sonasea night market on one side, and the Sonasea beach on the other, makes it a fantastic prospect. Cons: 1. Just one: We had booked a beachfront bungalow with a private pool. Now, just outside the room on the beachside, there is a small lane lit with street lights. In our room (907), the streetlight is exactly in front of the private pool. As a result, the "private" pool is no longer private, but is highlighted brightly by the light from the street-light. Maybe the foliage around the pool could be thicker, so as to create a visual barrier from onlookers/pedestrians passing by.
