I feel very fortunate to have found and had done my 20 years renewal of vows at La Veranda. After staying 4 nights at the Regent Phu Quoc I was excited to give this property a try. I am so glad I did. I Had a traditional Vietnamese Dragon and lion dance along with blessings from a female monk. Sam and his assistant Nga are two incredible sweet and fun people. They help and assist you in whatever you need to have done very polite respectful and fun to talk with. Iris is the sales manager that put this incredible Renewal of vows together. She is the sweetest creative person and so easy to talk with. Had buffet breakfast upstairs at the main house and always greeted professionally with a beautiful smile by Sunny food & beverage Manager make it so welcoming. We are so happy how amazing the entire staff treated us with professionalism and care. The property itself is just beautiful its so hard to explain the uniqueness, Tranquility of this property and food is so delicious words cannot describe. I feel so sad to leave this property with only a 2 night stay. I felt I have been staying here longer because staff treated us like family. I will Definitely refer La Veranda to family and friends when they are in Phu Phuoc. And we will defintely be coming back and stay alot longer. So sad to be leaving.

Fab staff - especially Sam (GEM) and Trang Le at breakfast. All staff really helpful and credit to hotel. Loved the main building style, beach, restaurant/bar and peaceful location. Restaurant food great and Jacques (chef) engaging. How you could be a 10 - we really didn’t like the mean allocation of four small bottles of water. This was mean for a hotel of this class (when paying a lot of money) and also harmful to the environment as guests were buying plastic bottles in the local supermarket to supplement. You can do better! Other issues : room tired; next door to us were smoking on their balcony which for non smokers is awful; pool needs to be more regularly cleaned. Also no management presence which we found unusual in a smaller hotel.

No matter how many times we return to this hotel—and we’ve honestly lost count—each stay somehow manages to exceed the last. The staff are consistently professional and courteous, yet every visit they feel even more polished, attentive, and experienced. They made this stay so comfortable and enjoyable that we’ve already begun planning our next trip back. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s genuinely hard to find anything to critique. We’ll continue choosing this hotel every time we’re in Phu Quoc, and we’ll keep recommending it to friends as the place to stay on the island.
