A perfect getaway with both beautiful beaches and pools. Surrounded by lush gardens and water views, the villas are modern, spacious and comfortable. The food was exceptional as well as the guest services, facilities and activities.

The resort and villa’s were beautiful but with two young children we did find it challenging with 52 stairs to our villa and needing a buggy to even leave the resort. The three levels of concrete stairs inside the villa were also challenging for us with a family of small children. A buggy/shuttle down to Khem beach area would also be really helpful. I did feel there was maintenance that needed to be done around the resort too. The outdoor kids playground was in a bad way and quite dangerous with broken rock climbing parts. The sand around it was also in a bad way and our kids feet were filthy after playing there. The staff were absolutely beautiful and did their best to look after us. I loved that ever staff member said hello when they saw us. Luke at concierge was particularly amazing helping us with our day at Vinworlds and the Safari.

Overall, the hotel is very nice, and the staff's service is excellent. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The waiting time for the buggy was quite long at times. In addition, the room could be cleaner, as I noticed dust in several corners. For a luxury resort, I also expected softer indoor slippers rather than hard outdoor-style ones. It would also be preferable to use liquid hand soap rather than bar soap in the guest rooms. Regarding the kitchen area, the setup could be improved. The dishwashing liquid in the dispenser was very diluted, and it would be more convenient to have liquid hand soap and the dish rack provided next to the sink. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but addressing these points would further enhance it.

Mixed emotions and experiences so far. Definitely not child free as we were led to believe, will discuss that with our travel agent, but you should expect children running around dining areas at all times. Don’t expect a quiet romantic meal. Staff are brilliant everywhere you go and are always willing to help. Rooms/villas are amazing and facilities spot on. There are a few observant though. Due to an error at reception, an additional 2600gbp was deducted from our credit card. We were advised that this would take 30-45 days to refund, plenty of apologies, but no compensation offered at any time. Despite being in a villa, there is no cutlery or crockery in the room, if you want it - you will need to pay extra.
