Where do you begin with this fabulous resort? We checked in for 5 nights to Eden Retreat Spa villa 806 and had a simply sublime stay. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by the team to the moment we left we felt relaxed and looked after by an incredible team of staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Julie introduced us to the fantastic array of activities available and showed us to our villa. She, and all other colleagues we interacted with, asked after us and our kids and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. A summary of some of the many "best bits': - Buggy service available to request via a bespoke app with friendly drivers always polite and happy to see you - Delicious breakfast options and a fabulous team again eager to help - Villa sunset view was to die for and the rooms, fixtures and fittings were all excellent - A/C worked very well (especially if curtains closed at peak of the sun during the day) - Room service was delicious and reasonably priced with no exorbitant service or delivery charges - Kids club had a variety of activities and fabulous staff to entertain. Vietnamese hat painting and origami were our wee ones favourites! - Spa was fabulous and I have described in more detail in a separate google review - Huge variety of pools and areas to choose from - never over crowded and felt quiet and relaxed - The grounds are sublime - we saw landscape gardening teams tending to the lush vegetation daily and they do a truly remarkable job. Just walking around the resort and appreciating the beauty of the surroundings was so calming - Beach BBQ was delicious and the fire show a hit with the kids - Bars and restaurants, whilst very expensive for the area, were not massively over priced for the location. This was smart of the management in my view as we ended up spending more as a result! - Were there to be more gouging going on we'd have likely avoided seating and drinking out as much. All the food and drinks were great. Cocktails around £8 and simple meals like burger and chips around £13 for example. It's worth noting that we are a (relatively) atypical LGBTO family with 2 dads and 2 kids. We were treated with nothing but respect, warmth and smiles from all the team. Although same sex marriage isn't fully implemented in Vietnam it is an incredibly welcoming country for gay and lesbian travellers and the Premier Village in particular would be a great choice we would wholeheartedly recommend. Thanks so much to all the team again - we are already planning our next visit :)
