As an Accor member I expect a high standard of accommodation and the Mecure Goulburn did not disappoint. I had a lovely experience with Matt at Reception whose customer service was exceptional. My large room was spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed (coffee machine, kettle/tea/biscuits, an array of toiletries, mini bar, huge TV with Foxtel, ironing board with iron, robes, slippers, etc etc). I didn't use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but had a look anyway and was impressed. Overall, my two nights there were great and I intend to stay there again next time I'm in Goulburn.

Our family had to travel to Goulburn for a family funeral, this had been an incredibly stressful time for our family and on making the reservation I forgot to add details. When I arrived in Goulburn went straight to the Mecure to arrange a cot and add another family member to the room reservation. It was at approximately 130-2pm in the afternoon and your reception staff were quite busy and housekeeping were scheduled to go home. However, both the housekeeping staff and reception staff quickly arranged for the cot to be placed in the room and modified our booking to include the additional person staying. Although they were busy both staff were amazing, very helpful and took a lot of pressure off our family at what was an incredibly difficult time. We can't thank them enough, their kind gestures, smiles and support made a difficult time less stressful for us.

Conveniently located and comfortable. We stayed twice in the same week driving to and from Melbourne, and have stayed in the past also. The only suggestion I would have is maintenance of the rooms, whilst they are very comfortable the 2 rooms we stayed in were musty and damp. There seemed to be cracked tiles in the shower which seemingly leaks as carpet outside ensuites were slightly damp and wooden skirting looked to be rotting. Otherwise, it’s a very pleasant stay and all the staff are very helpful and lovely.

The room was great and the breakfast good. The 12am false alarm that got all occupants out of their rooms for 20min , it made for a crappy sleep and tired for meetings i had the following day. Not ideal.
