I recently stayed for 4 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. I especially enjoyed spending time at the casino all day and night which added a fun element to the stay. That said, there were a few service issues that made parts of the stay uncomfortable. I attempted to settle my laundry bill 4–5 times during my stay, but was repeatedly told it hadn’t been posted yet. A front office staff member informed me I could simply pay at checkout, which seemed reasonable. However, later that night, a staff member unexpectedly knocked on my door not once! but three times!!! insisting the bill had to be settled immediately and couldn’t be paid at checkout. Interestingly, his card machine didn’t work all three times he came, which made the whole situation even more inconvenient. I’m quite sure I wouldn’t have run away from the hotel without settling a laundry bill, so this approach felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, housekeeping services need improvement. Room cleaning was not done unless specifically requested, and despite there being three guests, vanity kits were not provided accordingly and towels were not changed regularly. Despite these issues, I did enjoy my stay overall and the breakfast was great, I got my idli and sambar and my girl enjoyed having pastries and I would definitely consider coming back & have some time. I hope the management can work on improving service coordination and attention to detail, as it would make a big difference to the guest experience and also recommend hotel to have a cash machine in the lobby. Thanks to the Duty Manager Mr. Alok for his attention to detail, he was kind!

Our stay met the overall standards you would expect from a brand like Novotel—the property, service, and comfort were all up to mark. However, the dining experience was a letdown. The live dosa counter, in particular, was disappointing and among the weakest we’ve had in quite some time. While the rest of the dishes were decent, the menu lacked variety, especially over the course of our four-night stay. With some improvement in food quality and greater variety, the overall experience could be significantly enhanced.

Great experience, right from getting a room upgrade during check-in. We were greeted with some pleasantries, probably being a Accor Silver Member. The room was well-lit, modern looking and nicely made ready with all the amenities that one could ask for. They also left a welcome note for being a Silver Member along with some cookies to savour. Next day we used the fitness centre which to my surprise was very well equipped with the right combination of equipments and dumbbells. The breakfast experience at the Food Exchange restaurant was also pretty good. They seated us at the table of our choice and also put a placard to represent us as 'Accor Silver Member' which was like an extra touch of hospitality. There was always some staff around us, probably because of the placard, asking if we need anything. The food itself, the spread as well as the taste was very good. Overall, I highly recommend Novotel Panjim, for your stay in Central Goa, whether you're travelling alone for business or travelling with family for leisure or on a solo trip, they will make sure you're taken care off. A great 10/10 and kudos to the entire team of Novotel Panjim. Looking forward to the next stay at the property.
