The hotel is right on the river just a 10 minute walk along the riverbank into the centre of Macon. The rooms are a good size and thoroughly cleaned but the carpet was quite stained in places and should probably be replaced. I also found the bed a little too firm for my personal taste. These are minor issues, though, and do not detract from the overall value for money. The breakfast choice and quality is good and every single member of staff we met was welcoming, helpful and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed just one night with you, on the way to a ski holiday, and the stop over was extremely comfortable. The bed was a super king, allowing us extra space in it, very comfortable and the sheets were crispy clean. I had the « quick breakfast » after an awesome nights sleep and it was excellent value for money. We will definitely stay there again next year.

location was great but hotel is actually quite old. Didn't have the "Mercure's flair" I remember. Lobby looked fine but my room was a bit damaged, old styled. I didn't feel the value for the rpice I paid (140eur ca) for 1 night. Breakfast was great though.
