We stop regularly at this hotel on our way south. We find this hotel very convenient just off the motorway. Our small dog is welcomed and staff very friendly.

The location, surroundings and layout of this Novotel are attractive and the breakfast buffet very satisfactory. The dinner dishes were bland tasting but the wine by the glass selection was fine. Friendly and efficient service.

The reception and the room was good . But the restaurant & the food which was served to both my self & my husband was below average and in fact for a gastronomic area of France was really poor . We are very disappointed at this . We are staying back there on our return and would not be dining there if we can help it .

We were surprised at these state of the hotel - just look uncared for Staff were pleasant but their uniforms look like they were all cleaners - the grey and white T shirts and Jeans and trainers are not a good look - the receptionist in the morning did have a black jacket on which made her abit smarter - The poor staff in the restaurant were overwhelmed in the evening they tried their best - tables where not cleaned - people were having trouble getting the right bills - The general condition of the hotel is tried and need a revamp

Very poor facilities for disabled people. No wheelchairs. Used a room for the disabled which was too small to easily turn a wheelchair or access the bed.

The infrastructure of the hotel needs to be updated. Some rooms really smelled strongly and we had to change. Big dogs of guests created fear among members of our group. A lot of insects and spiders could be found in the room and in front of the windows attracted by the massive lighs in front of the hotel. The rooms were booked for three persons, but only two beds were prepared. The was not prepared even a request from our side. „This needs to be done by the guests themselves.“ I recommended Novotel to the members of our group and feel bad, that such a poor service and bad infrastructure was the result. Please see the below the letter of my brother in law that was sent to the customer care: Guten Tag, wir hatten auf der Heimreise aus unserem Urlaub extra ein Novotel gebucht um den Urlaub gebührend zu beenden. (Auf der Hinreise haben wir bereits 3 Nächte in Ibis Styles Hotels in Varese Italien und Arles Frankreich verbracht). Von diesem Novotel waren wir (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) jedoch völlig enttäuscht und erschüttert. Da wir im voraus gebucht und den Betrag bereits bezahlt hatten mussten wir leider bleiben. Den Aufenthalt hat diesmal mein Schwager Jürgen D. gebucht, trotzdem möchte ich Ihnen gerne von unserer persönlichen Erfahrung berichten. Bereits die Aussenseite des Hotels vermittelte was uns im innern erwartete. Im Eingangsbereich kam uns eine fürchterliche Duftwolke aus einem "Dauerbenebler" entgegen, dies dient zur Überdeckung des "Muffs" im Hotel. Von drei Zimmern waren zwei aufgrund des "Muffs" nicht bewohnbar. Es waren 3-Bettzimmer gebucht, jedoch war nur das Doppelbett bezogen. Trotz höflicher Bitte wurde das dritte Bett nicht vom Hotel bereitgestellt, vielmehr mussten wir die Schlafcouches selbst aufklappen und aufbetten. Wie dieses Hotel den Novotel-Standard erreichen kann ist uns völlig unverständlich! Selbst in einem Ibis Budget würde ich einen besseren Standard erwarten! Das Hotel ist abgewohnt und ungepflegt! Die Teppiche waren verschmutzt, sodass man nicht ohne Schuhe gehen möchte. Die Aussenwände verdreckt. Die Fenster schmutzig und beim öffnen (was dringend nötig ist) fallen einem Insekten entgegen! Die Klimaanlage hat gestunken. Bitte machen Sie uns ein Angebot wie Sie uns die entgangenen Urlaubsfreuden erstatten möchten. Bitte geben Sie mir in jedem Fall eine Rückantwort, auch wenn Sie die Erstattungsmöglichkeiten nur mit Herrn Jürgen D. klären können. Herrn D. war die Hotelempfehlung übrigens äußerst peinlich! Meine eigene Le Club Accor Karten-Nr. :30…9350. Weitere Aufenthalte in Accorhotels habe ich auch über Hotels.com gebucht. Ich freue mich auf Ihre Antwort, denn gerade bei Unstimmigkeiten zeigt sich die tatsächliche Qualität eines Dienstleisters. Besten Dank vorab. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Frank Rügamer

We arrived late so we wanted something to eat. Buffet only, and quality was not good. Too expensive for what was offered. Disappointed. Rooms were good and clean, beds as well.

Hotel carpets were very verty dirty. Sheets were so worn they were ‘bobbly’ - woke in the night thinking there was sand in the bed (there wasn’t). Room not ready, we had to put up the sofa bed which was so tricky that even a member of staff when called struggled. Worst of all was the buffet - after a long drive to find the only option for food was a €25/head buffet was disappointing - supremely over priced. I eat almost anything (!) but pretty much everything was awful and had been left out too long. Felt like a lazy way to make money. Not in a million years a 4*. Come on Novotel, you can do much much better than this.

For room rate of 134 euro's, I am expecting a room with working airconditioning. I need to sleeop with open window to cool down the room :( . For the rest all was ok. Especially, the breakfast was excellent.
