At the time of our stay there was scaffolding on the back of the building. On entering the room the entire window was covered with opaque plastic so we could not see out. As well as the lack of view or ventilation we had workmen on the scaffolding, directly outside our room, from early morning. While I appreciate that maintenance needs to be done, I believe that guests should be given prior warning about this and I do not expect to pay full price for a substandard room. We did ask to change room but were told this was not possible and our subsequent complaints to management have been met with a negative response.

Very good experience. The only negative was the lady who checked us in, we found here to be quite unfriendly bordering on rude but not quite. As if she was fed up or did not want to be there. The rest of the staff and our stay was excellent. Thank you.

We expected to chill at the pool... and just arriving the concierge said was close. After 700km my daughters expected some summertime...the reason why I choose this hotel.

Noise pollution of rooms facing courtyard

The hotel is a corner building at a crossroad, thus its two wings each face a street. The windows are not soundproof. Luckily, we got a room facing the courtyard. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning generator for the entire building is also located in the courtyard (at ground level), creating a noticeable humming sound throughout night and day. Since we were on the second floor, the noise volume was somewhat lower. Yet it still impacted the quality of our sleep.
