The hotel features excellent restaurants serving high-quality food, and the guest rooms are thoughtfully decorated. However, our stay was compromised by a couple of maintenance issues. The mattress was significantly worn out, sinking deeply and lacking proper support, which resulted in a backache by morning. Additionally, the bathroom drainage was poor; water accumulated rapidly during showers and overflowed onto the main bathroom flooring. With some attention to room maintenance, this would be a wonderful property.

Stayed 6 nights. Staff were all very lovely and accommodating. Afternoon tea was something special. Corner room was light and had all features required. Rooftop pool was quite good. Bar on the roof was good especially during happy hour.

After approximately twelve stays over the past ten years, this visit was a considerable disappointment. As a longstanding returning guest, I expected substantially better from a hotel of this standing.
Room 607 had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, and the layout was so impractical that two people could barely move around comfortably. There was no turndown service, and reception made no acknowledgement whatsoever of our previous stays.
Service in the lobby bar was unacceptable. Waiting 30 minutes for two glasses of juice, despite repeated reminders, is difficult to justify at any hotel, let alone one positioning itself at this level. The rooftop terrace is also looking increasingly dated.
The spa and Albion restaurant were lovely, but these positives do not make up for the shortcomings elsewhere. This has been my favourite hotel in Saigon for a decade, which makes the experience particularly frustrating. On the basis of this stay, I have serious reservations about returning.

The entire stay was perfect! The staff in particular are fantastic, I wish I could mention them all individually, but it was all; they helped in any way possible and continually went out of their way to make our stay better.
The hotel is ideally located in easy walking distance to many landmarks and local restaurants.
The rooms are: clean, modern and very comfortable.

All hotel staff made us feel special throughout stay. Always impressed by the food quality of the buffet and room service. Staff even prepared a complementary birthday cake delivered to our room. Only bad spot was a staff member that was rude to our family members that were visiting the hotel to see us during our stay.

We had the most beautiful stay at the hotel recently. Firstly the hotel itself is very conveniently located for sightseeing and exploring HCM - we walked to most places including the War remnants museum, post office, Norte Dam (currently under construction) and the palace. The hotel’s driveway which makes pick-up and drop-offs for tours or grabs very easy.
But it is the hotel staff that truly make this stay magical - we arrived in the morning after an overnight flight and staff went above and beyond and had our room ready about 30 minutes after we arrived (this was not expected, but greatly appreciated!). The rooftop pool bar had a great happy hour and is the perfect place to watch storm clouds roll in or a glorious sunset after a day out exploring. Lastly, if you are an Accor member and plan to eat at the Albion, it may be worth joining as an Accor explorer/voyager membership as the discount across food and beverages is substantial.

The staff were simply exceptional and elevate this hotel well above others. One of the Concierge’s Tan, was so helpful when I accidentally locked a new suitcase with the wrong code. Yes this hotel is on the more expensive end of the spectrum but I can now see that it is well worth it. I will definitely be back.
