Upon entry to the hotel it seemed nice and modern, but the room was stuffy, the linens and bedsheets were very harsh. No washcloths we’ve after asking. The staff only suggested we would not receive any points if we got more towels. Just wasn’t comfortable with the room.

It was a lovely hotel - and lovely service from the girl that checked us in! It was nice to get an upgrade too. The only thing that wasn’t’ great was the breakfast. The bacon had such a weird taste as did the eggs. Other items just seemed shrivelled and old, like they had been put out at 7 am and not replenished the whole morning.

Our stay at Mercure was excellent. The team promptly arranged valet parking for our car, making everything very convenient from the moment we arrived. We were also delighted to receive a room upgrade to a King-size room with a balcony, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. We really appreciated the unlimited water and coffee available to us, as well as the lovely Florentine cantuccini we received. At breakfast, we were very well looked after, including a special cappuccino that made the experience even better. As ALL Accor members, we were welcomed with complimentary drinks, and the Aperol was absolutely delicious. Overall, the staff’s hospitality, attention to detail, and thoughtful gestures made our stay truly memorable.

We love our stay in this Hotel. We love the cleanliness, modern amenities & decors, , friendly helpful staff , that clean heavenly scent in the lobby when you come in. The room was lovely with a balcony with patio chairs and table in it. Close to restaurants, shops and places of interest. We were not able to do TV streaming despite we were helped by the staff, perhaps issues originates from our mobile device. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. We’ll love to stay again here in the future.

This hotel is so well located from the station. Only a few mins from the Centrale station. The breakfast although quite a small room was really nice. The ladies there so friendly.. reception very helpful . I was taken back at first as a platinum status this year I have travelled a lot in Asia where it is quite different...I usually get breakfast for free and bottles of water and acknowledged.. In Europe no free brekky and pay for extra water .on saying that I must sound a bit of a princess !!! Haha...but in the end I loved my stay..felt safe in area on my own.. restaurants cafe close by..would definitely stay there again..loved Florence thank you

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We booked a suite for our family of four, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and kind. Mercure is a very nice hotell in Florence, with a good location close to the train station and a short walk from the Duomo. Overall good standard, and very good sized room, in an old theatre/cinema and the staff was excellent.
