Saying my stay at Ibis Firenze Prato Est was awesome would honestly be an understatement. One of the biggest highlights was its convenient location — getting there was easy with a train from Santa Maria Novella to Calenzano, followed by bus 303 or just a 15-minute walk to the hotel. The service truly stood out. The staff were warm, professional, and welcoming across the board—from reception to the restaurant and even the housekeeping team. It made the whole experience feel effortless and comfortable. The rooms were clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully laid out. The bedding was fresh and comfortable, exactly what you’d expect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast each morning was good — while it didn’t have a wide variety, it definitely did the job and set the tone for the day. For lunch and dinner (since the hotel doesn’t serve these), the nearby Gigli Shopping Mall was a perfect solution. I especially enjoyed dining at Old Wild West Gigli—those onion rings as a starter became a tradition! The mall also offers great shopping options, making it a convenient all-in-one stop. This stay has definitely won me over. I’ll be coming back and will gladly recommend it to others. In fact, it inspired me to book Ibis Roma Fiera for my stay in Rome. Highly recommended!

Room was a little warm and air con would not blow cool (still winter) Good food outlets available from next door massive super store which unfortunately blared out loud music all day, but luckily not after 2145! Shower was normal Ibis, continually changing between hot and cool. Daytime receptionist was very helpful, changing our room to a cooler one and printing off directions for park and tram (very cheap) to access central Florence. Breakfast not as good as normal Ibis fare in France. Poor selection of bread.
