It's lovely hotel, close to the airport. Room was nice and spacious. Staff was very friendly and polite. Only one thing we didn't like, there was a faulty air-conditioning. We weren't able to turn it off and it was making very loud sound, so we struggled to fall asleep before our early flight.

Very comfortable overnight stay , very comfy room , only problem was the shower flooded the bathroom floor and our door lock was a brick sticky . Wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant and the pool was fab . Would definitely stay again

Very disappointing pool experience in a family hotel The reception and bar staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They answered all our questions, gave useful advice and always treated us kindly. Unfortunately, our experience at the swimming pool was extremely negative. There were two female employees working there during our stay. We had no problems at all with one of them: she was polite and allowed the children to enjoy the pool normally. The attitude of the other employee was completely different. She repeatedly complained whenever my children played, jumped into the water or made normal splashes. At that moment, we were the only people using the pool — just a father with three children — so we were not disturbing any other guests. Her behaviour gave us the strong impression that she simply did not like children playing in the pool and would have preferred the pool to remain empty so that she would not have to supervise anyone. Her constant complaints made us feel extremely unwelcome, and eventually we had to leave the pool. This is supposed to be a family hotel, not an adults-only hotel. Children should be allowed to play and enjoy the swimming pool, provided they are supervised and not disturbing other guests. Management should urgently address this employee’s attitude towards families and children. There was also an issue at breakfast: some cups were chipped, poorly washed and covered with strange white streaks or residue. Despite the excellent reception and bar staff, the unacceptable pool experience was the main reason for our low rating.

During our car trip through Italy we spent one night at the hotel. Located near the highway and with a large parking lot, the hotel is useful for those traveling by car. I did not find it close to the airport or easy to get to, but this aspect did not interest us. Clearly, extensive renovations are needed in all areas, but our stay was pleasant, large rooms, comfortable mattresses for sleeping. The breakfast was okay, diversified, but clearly can be improved.

Based on the hotels dirty carpets in both rooms, I would not recommend this hotel. in addition the bathroom in one of the 2 rooms had an awful smell either coming from the toilet or shower. I called down and someone came to pour something into the toilet and down the shower drain. This hotel should not be rated as a Novotel Hotel. The staff were friendly.

we had two nice rooms on the 7th floor. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar and a well presented dinner in the restaurant,. The service and staff are very nice.

Hotel was quite okay. Nice rooms and comfy beds. It was just a pitty that the pool was closed in the morning for water testing.. (which could be done before opening hours) after when the lock of the pool was removed, it was still not allowed to swim.... kids were very upset as we booked on purpose a hotel with pool. Later on we saw from our room that persons were swimming...... and we did not receive any info raised a complain, never received feedback

The hotel is not located in a pedestrian friendly road, reaching it on bus or foot takes .5 kms walking and crossing the highway 3 times with no crosswalks it’s extremely unsafe. The ac was not working properly the first night, after informing the reception they made some changes but it was still uncomfortable to sleep too warm. Lastly, since I had for breakfast that I could not eat, they agreed to give me a boxed breakfast, what I actually got was stale cake and pastry with a big water that nobody asked for and an apple. This hotel was a waste of my time and money, would never recommend. The staff however was nice, called me a cab when I was leaving.

The receptionist was super professional and helpful, with a great level of English. She informed us about our card status and the related privileges—a first for me! This is exactly how service should look. Great job, Novotel team! I wish I remembered her name, but she was a bit older than the rest of the staff.

This hotel Is NOT close to the Florence airport despite calling themselves an airport hotel. Was still an almost 30 Minute drive. No shuttle. Could have stayed somewhere in the city centre and been closer.
