View from the room was great, water pressure for the shower was good & the room was well appointed. Aircon system could be improved - very fiddly; stopped working when trying to go to a lower temperature. All in all, a good stay - staff were pleasant and friendly, in both the reception and restaurant areas. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed at ibis Firenze Nord Aeroporto and unfortunately our experience was not good. We were quite disappointed with our stay. The breakfast did not satisfy us very much, as the quality and variety were limited compared to what we expected from a hotel of this chain. Also, the room lacked some basic details that make a stay more comfortable. For example, next to one bed there was a power outlet to charge a mobile phone only on one side of the bedside table, while on the other side there was none at all. In the bathroom there was a hole low on the wall, on the tile, which gave a poor impression of maintenance. In addition, the sink would fill up immediately even when the water was turned on slightly, which was quite inconvenient. I am also a Silver member in the loyalty program, and the welcome drink offered to us was quite limited. We were told that we could choose a specific drink. When we went to the bar, we asked for soda, but we were informed that there was no soda available in the entire hotel, which was surprising for a hotel of this level. Overall, we expected a better experience and better organization from a hotel of this chain.
